The main issue is you dont know how to manage oversteer. A narrow trail with trees on both sides is not the place to learn as you almost found out why.
Up north I hit the roads during a snow storm(when we used to get them at least) and just slide around turns, hit up empty parking lots etc...
When I need the extra space I do. When Im in the city and can park it anywhere I dont. I stopped by the dealer this week and they had an all black 4 door wildtrak and I had major wants. Still very happy with mine.
I got pod lights and tints on mine. May do the ford performance tune and fog light but thats it.
I get tempted to go higher and bigger with the wheels/suspension but its doing everything I need. Really drives great on the highway and I can sit happily at 85mph on my 3 hour drive to my farm...
