I meant the angles, bend etc of the fenders were accommodated making a left and right. Could have sworn there was mention somewhere where they custom did each side as the fenders were not exactly the same on each side. Dunno…getting old so nothing surprises me anymore!
Install - Got mine and was about to install. I thought there was one for the drivers and one for the passenger side and they were not the same? Mine look exactly the same layed on top of each other and there isn't any info or instructions about drivers vs passenger side.
Did something...
OK cool then the Wildtrak follows badlands is accurate and mine was only a day or so behind your order. Thx...exactly the reference type info I was looking for.
So much for the explanation of “Wildtrak follows Badlands run.” My order was a month earlier than this order.
Eh whatever….they’ll show up someday and will look good. It’s Friday let’s all focus on that!
Where are we on these now...anybody got a shipping email this week? Clicking off days in the 5th month waiting and no real idea on delivery date still. Response I got from AR on Sept 18 was "it's being made...they make them in batches... and that Wildtrak followed the Badlands run." Just...
Nothing to taking the middle off with the JTOP on also. The latches are expiosed and plenty of space in edges and zippers. I just push it up and slide it slightly up and back so it's sitting out of the grooves. Then get outside and just pick it up from side. 2 minute job. Guessing while...
There are zippers in front and middle section…easy to push up and remove and install hard top. There is no interference in the rear with the hard top as the JTOPS ends at the back crossbar. Don’t know how that hoist connects to hard top but the top lift pro and others like that are business as...
Doing this also...the light brackets sit up above the frame too far. I've even wondered about just removing two of the lights since they are so bright...or making an extensions for the cable and putting two of the lights further back for the cargo.
I've got the same thing happening here...have done it several times and the front section is touchign the front of the vehicle. and have some waves. Can't pull back more than the aligned holes for the bracket. Feels like there is a little too much fabric in the center part where the buckles go...
Took Bronco for a 90 mile trip yesterday....first time actually driving any mileage. Pulled over to make sure the hood was closed and latched. Glad to hear this may help .... was bizarre seeing the front side edges of hood flutter.
I think these may be made to order and have some extra attention to detail. Or at least that's what I told myself to why I paid double the cost of the Rain Gear. LOL! Nothing happens quick with owning a Bronco.
Went with the Broncover. I like the included tent pole and integrated mount point. Don't know if worth all the extra money but this vehicle seems like an endless money pit of accessories so figured "why not?"....
Anyone have a real-world info comparing the two covers? RainGear is half the price...same quality, etc? I don't mind paying the money for Broncover if it's worth it.
