I agree . Traditionally the next model year comes out before that actual year in September- November time. Since Broncos won’t hit the street until at best June, just do what others do and call it a 22.
Switched to Mullimax and got a hat. Brandon Ford and Bartow Ford haven't done anything in terms of communication or swag. Bartow is small, but Brandon definitely has the money to spend on swag.
What would prevent the dealer from checking that box come order time? Anyone have insight into how it works? Does the factory invalidate the order or does it slip through?
Luckily I'm getting a black bronco - so the badlands with the orange won't look too weird with doors on or off. Otherwise I wouldn't be a buyer first year. I do think I'll wait for the black painted top. This video has my convinced MIC won't look well...and 4dr NEEDS Sasquatch.
Unsurprisingly, BroncoNation is putting out some very misleading images of the "dark gray" MIC top. From the other image someone else posted on the forum, it's very gray/silver. I haven't actually seen it in person, but I'm willing to bet it is as bad as we think it is. Shame on BN.
I was going...
Dude just switch to Mullimax in Kissimmee (or their other locations). They are doing X-plan pricing if you have a valid PIN or MSRP otherwise. They have no dealer fees or addons.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but I’m willing to bet that after MY21, with ford almost exclusively building reservation orders, the following years will have ford building primarily for dealers. So it could take a lot longer to get your bronco.
I'm curious what the modular top does to weight. Also wondering if it's why it has been delayed. I bet they are trying to figure out ways to reduce its weight as I'm sure its a lot heavier than the MIC plastic.
Yeah the rails make sense if they are considering it being a top heavy add versus the wench being more center of gravity add, but the damn PPF or the sound deadener doesn't add but 5lbs? I'm more okay adding rails after the fact - the sound deadener, not really.
I think I've settled on not getting rails or deadening from the factory. Realistically I don't need rails day 1 and can easily be added later, same with deadener. I dont want to forgo both the engine and sas just for those 2.
I was looking for the same comparison as Ford really fucked up big time forcing us to make decisions none of us planned for. I definitely think the Bandlands 4dr needs Sasquatch.
Here's some more I found. Wildtrak vs 33 badlands.
