With the announcement of the 392 Wrangler, and it likely being available before the bronco...its getting harder to accept some of the nonsense ford strapped to this revival.
Holding out hope for some kind of change on the Bronco interior...but between the interior/top/expansion of FE...
The implementation on the ranger and bronco is antiquated af and hideous. Hard pass from me.
My father has it in his 18 Fusion and you can't lock the keys in the car.
I don't know about considering the interior the icing...its more like the cake was beautifully iced and when you cut into it...you find a dense turd...
The interior is ultimately what you spend the most time in, and what you have to engage with and look at...for years to come. But taste is...
Glad you were able to make a call. I like the look of the 2 door more, but suspect ride quality on the highway will be better with the 4. I don't know...I'm torn
I don't know why we think the FE will hold its value (better)...didn't someone on here post how the limited edition f150 with the blue interior is going for less than other platinum f150s now?
If I stick with the FE it will be cactus gray. The wife actually thinks the navy pier interior looks...
Probably out unless changes come. Might switch to OBx with that bronze dash. But will probably just get a different vehicle from a different manufacturer. Ford really can't get out of their own way sometimes.
Leaning towards being out on this after all of the crap Ford has been trickling out. I can be understanding when it comes to Covid. But I can't be understanding when you've had innumerable years to put this together and you shit the bed in this fashion.
The FE is abysmal from an aesthetic...
I wasted my time on the B+P, we don't really have anything to play with adding on the FE. And I wasted my time watching some of that interior video.
But...that heathered gray cloth on the base and I think it was the inset for the OBx lower level seats was pretty attractive.
Leave it to Ford...
I'm liking the Hummer, not loving the price tag, but it is a different animal from the Bronco.
Its worth noting GMC's reservation page/process is almost as bad as Ford's...at least GMC is letting me get to the final page before smacking me with frustration...
The more Ford updates I hear about the FE, the more likely I am to go with a Wrangler and update the grille and hood to the aftermarket vintage rhino inspired options
Ugh. I find lightning blue hideous, but generally do not go for the very bright blues and greens.
Would love a nice muted green and not the navy pier interior...
I'm still excited and like (and can afford) the FE. But, I do have my concerns about buying a $60k Ford product. I come from buying lightly used German cars (and then killing their value with all of the mileage I put on them) for the most part, so the initial depreciation hit will take a bit of...
Glad I have a "fun" vehicle purchase planned for October to keep me occupied and tide me over until the Bronco nears.
To be honest, will probably go back to oogling loaded-up diesel wranglers in the meantime and just see how all of this plays out.
