If you're sure it's the hard top popping try a little lube.
I just lubed the pins and metal to metal latch points with some super-lube grease. Doesn't take much just a apply with a q-tip and the popping went away. It's been pop free since Nov 2021.
While I love my Bronco, I'm not sure if I'd buy mine at today's prices.
The I just did a build and price for giggles and the MSRP is $3k+ over what I paid for mine with tax, title, and a 5 year service plan.
I'm down to averaging 17.5 mpg and the primary reason is my commute changed from 40-60 city/highway to all city. Previously was around 18.5mpg with that mix. When it gets the chance to stretch it's legs on the highway it will average 20-21 mpg depending on terrain and conditions.

Toyota is not immune to problems, it's luck of the draw.
Between an 04 & 19 Siennas and an 05 Tacoma over than last 20 years we've had...
Failed power door latch (04 Sienna)that ended up destroying the door ($2500 out of pocket). Toyota later recalled it but would only reimbursed the cost of...
And? What does the adding port injection have to do with the manual transmission? The take rate was a little less than 1 in 10 for the Ecoboost Mustang.
If I remember right they were leaving it in 3rd or worse 4th.
If anyone is leaving it in any gear higher than 1st, you're wrong. If you're really worried park in C, that provides the most mechanical advantage against rolling. For it to roll 1 mph in C it needs to get that engine spinning like...
Honestly for getting broadsided the Bronco held up amazingly well. The second amazing thing is the $16k estimate. My fender bender T-Bone was $3k and there was no body damage, just a wheel/tire and touchup to the Rockslide step slider.
Once it's uploaded you can disconnect the Procal tool. While it does come with a mount, really the only thing it offers being connected is additional gauge data readouts like temps etc.
Nope, I'm one of those whose 4 door identifies as a 2 door. I get around 290-300 miles on the DTE display on fill up and napkin math says 18 mpg x 16 gal = 288 miles, it used to be 370ish miles. Still haven't got around to calling Ford Racing tech to see if the programming associated with my vin...
Sept 21 build, I have some noise when cold and driving 5-10 mph. Everything needs to be turned off to hear it though. If I have the a/c or radio on, you can't hear it.
Other than that the overall 7 speed experience is awesome. Especially if you throw the B&M sport shifter on it.
I second just going to the fuse box. It's not that difficult at all to run and hide all the wires, but grab a set of plastic trim tools. You can do it without trim tools but life is soooo much easier with them. After getting a set, I think they should be a mandatory part of the toolbox kit.
One of my favorite engineering professors, (who specialized in failure analysis, consulting, and litigation) said something in a course about product safety regarding trials that resonated and stuck with me since.

Also probably why I...
Is it a vibrating, wind buffeting sound, or a clicking/popping sound?
If it's clicking/popping it's probably the locating pegs. You can put a little dab of silicone super lube or do the shrink wrap trick and it will go away.
If it's some vibrating sound. I'm not exactly sure what the cause of...
747 wings were comb core. When comb core sandwich panel is done right, it is absolutely amazing. Incredibly rigid and light weight. I could stand in the middle of a 3' x 8" x 3/8" strip supported at both ends and at 210 lbs it didn't deflect any perceptible amount. The strip only weighed a...
