If I had to do it again I would replace the front and pod speakers with kicker 4”. then adding a sub was a huge improvement. The kicker key is nice but not needed.

I would HIGHLY recommend making the forscan changes. I did this and it really made the sound so much better and my 8" sub hits really hard now.

They are cheap enough and easy to use that I would just grab a pair of handhelds.

Even with doing this, do you still need to get the dealer to send full signal to the rear speakers?

Do you have a picture of the final product? And then with everything reinstalled?

I did replace my rear speakers with 6.5”s and used the kicker key amp. But they still have almost no bass. I think it is still being blocked at the input to the amp.

What did you have to ask for for full signal to the back?

Looks great! I am interested. I already have an 8” sub and amp mounted there but I feel like it could look and sound better.

I would imagine it has everything to do with maximizing profit on the orders they do make.

I will say the Key did make the system louder. But I lost bass in the process. I need to replace the subwoofer with an amplified solution and then I think it will be good.

Just got the kicker key 200.4 installed today. The sound is WAY better and I haven't run the calibration yet. So far I have Kicker 4" speakers in the dash, stock in the front panels and 6.5" in the Mabett pods in the back. I have an 8" sub that I have yet to install, think that will level...

I don't have the delete message on mine but feel the same as you. I hear nothing from the sub and it is not really worth it.

I don't know that dealers will ever get back to having thousands of cars sitting on lots. I think this is probably the new norm as.

These look awesome. Really wish Ford would have gone with these in the first place!
