My 2 cents, since you asked:
1. Do you want to pay $7500 more than Ford says it costs ?
2. I’d advise against purchasing a depreciating asset with an eye on holding value. Instead ask yourself does this suit my needs and wants in a vehicle?
3. Answer 2 and refer back to 1.
Personally I...
1. Hardware to mount resistor is not long enough to engage nyloc on nuts.
2. Connection for resistor leaves much to be desired given the fact that the rear tires kick water and dirt into this area.
3. Mounts are cheap and prefect alignment kind of depends on how far you thread in tail light...
Idk if one is better than the other, but the lAG version appears to be the same as multiple versions on Amazon. I believe the one I purchased was ~$45.
I feel like the gas strut is there to keep it where you leave it. Not push it open. There are a few situations I can think of where that is more beneficial than the door pushing out by itself. And afaik there don’t seem to be any other options for it.
It’s the Barricade HD Tubular rear bumper. I thought it actually looked pretty good. Fitment surprisingly was good, no issues. Best part was it was open box from extreme Terrain for $225. Honestly I don’t think that kind of deal can be beat.
