I own a 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands 2 door 2.7l (mid finish), a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands(High finish, wife's), and a 2018 Ford F250 XLT, standard cab, 8' bed 4x4 6.2l gas (bought new in '18). Love them all, but the full-size bronco is the jewel, imo. It is tight but supple on the road, and...
Could be they sent mine out with a 'not terrible' top, knowing they would be replacing it. I did check my door pillar last night, and see my build date was 7/21, not 7/19 as previously understood via their online portal.
Iāll get some more tomorrow but wonāt be til end of day. I did drive it again tonight- so nice. Maybe best visibility of any vehicle Iāve ever had. And just tracks and corners with a solid planted feel.
Ok. Looking closely, almost positive itās version one. Some edges are molded and clean but others are clearly cut and coated with a paint of some type. I did get an email last week stating that they would be replacing itā¦.
I did, I think on the 12th as well. And now that Iāve had another look at the top, Iām almost certain itās a vers. 1.0. It has some cut edges that are maybe painted and unfinished looking/sharp/rough. Looks fine from a couple feet away but not great up close.
Interesting. But I really canāt not drive it. Even though it feels like Iām about to be rear ended every minute (it being so potentially rare). One thing though- I was expecting more attention while on the road. Hardly anyone seems to notice.
Marine Grade Vinyl seems nice. Practical. Tough. Nicely crafted. Iāll likely cover the seats though. I like a sacrificial layer. I build stuff and get dirty a lot. Iām thinking of removing backseats for better utility as well, I donāt haul people too often and have a better car for that.
I have the lowly Mid package. Sound system surprisingly bold. First touch screen Iāve had in a car, also CarPlay, everything works great. No doubt lux will be super fine.
I was planning on Black Diamond but changed at order conversion to Badlands. I liked the steel wheels available on the BD! But in the end decided to opt for more capable rig, and I like the stock Badlands stance better.
To be honest itās at home on this sunny day so I dunno! I think itās the most practical color offered. I would have considered the metallic Grey if my other two cars werenāt already near that color. Itās pretty light, but definitely silver.
