  1. Help!!! Kings made my steering wonky.

Air hammer was used to push out the lower shock bolts that are pressed into bar pin. This allows you to remove the shock in a more efficient way.
  2. Help!!! Kings made my steering wonky.

Thanks for tagging us in, sorry for the delay. I had some time to go through the comments and get a better understanding of whats gong on. I totally understand the frustration and wanting answers. I wish we had answers and an easy solution. I agree with others that the shocks are likely not the...
  3. Spring And Shock Package For Extra Weight?

Few things to note -Would you rather your your bronco ride nice and smooth unloaded or loaded? We tend to help customers set up their suspension for how it will be used most often vs the few times a month/year. -Spacer lift, although it wont mess with the shock function, you will need to be sure...
  4. FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE SERIES 2.5 - feedback / review?

IBP = Internal Bypass Fox Factory is a 3.0 IBP, not a 2.5
  5. FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE SERIES 2.5 - feedback / review?

Not from Fox. Their lift height ranges start at 2" of lift and go up to 4.5"
  6. FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE SERIES 2.5 - feedback / review?

Negative, you cannot run a 0" lift or .5" lift properly. I am not sure the spring/body would even allow for it. Most aftermarket shocks are designed to give you lift, but also more overall travel. Because of this, their compressed lengths are longer so lowering the shock from its required height...
  7. Nose high on Fox 2.5 (not leveled)

Different rate springs will require different amount of preload, so yes it would need to be adjusted. You can certainly just swap springs, but the ride quality may just not be perfect with the factory tune. I cannot say for sure how it will ride with that setup.
  8. FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE SERIES 2.5 - feedback / review?

If you're happy with what ya got, then spend those dollars on fuel and go have fun! Its very difficult to explain how much better one type of suspension is from the next. The best way is to experience it. If you ever get a chance to jump in someones Bronco with different suspension, take it...
  9. FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE SERIES 2.5 - feedback / review?

Fox PES shocks on our Bronco are pretty awesome. Super nice ride on the street/hwy and pretty damn impressive off-road with street pressure in the tires. Before & after our tuning and spring swap was a big help. Both Fox and King are a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get. Fox or King shock...
  10. BDS KOH coilover suspension lift - reviews / feedback?

Fox uses some non-standard, Bronco specific spring sizes for their rear coilovers. The upper and lower spring perches are designed for those springs to fit snug. That ID is 3.57". Aftermarket springs can also come in different sizes but the spring rates we opted to use is a more standard ID size...
  11. Nose high on Fox 2.5 (not leveled)

I'm not sure what that part number is, but our 250lb rear spring kit is about $264 https://accutuneoffroad.com/product/21-bronco-4-door-eibach-rear-spring-kit-for-fox-2-5-pes/
  12. BDS KOH coilover suspension lift - reviews / feedback?

Springs can only accept a certain amount amount of preload before they go into coil bind. Coil bind is when the spring is completely collapsed. Often times there is still up travel in the shock that could be used, but coil bind is the new bump stop. Coil bind can cause a few issues including...
  13. BDS KOH coilover suspension lift - reviews / feedback?

We found similar issues with the standard springs that come with the Fox shocks, so we are now offering different spring rates based on your Bronco model, even stock. Adding more weight to the front doesnt really help the situation. Proper spring rates will really help the suspension perform its...

Hey nice photo ;) Air bumps can be great, costly, require fab work, may not offer a pleasant ride for most driving, requires tuning with nitorgen pressure changes.
  18. 74Weld Bronco Portals now available!

Not sure I follow. The internal spacer is minimal compared to the overall travel numbers. The reason we started offering these spacers is bc we saw first hand the CVs binding at full droop on the lift. Fox we did not experience that issue and has slightly shorter extended length. This small...
  19. 74Weld Bronco Portals now available!

straps or internal shock spacers can limit droop. We offer internal spacers for Kings to keep CVs from over extending
  20. 74Weld Bronco Portals now available!

There should be no valid reason to remove the bump stop from the shock. Bump stops keep the shocks from bottoming out metal on metal, also keeps tires from ripping your fenders off. Sure, in theory if you were to remove the bump stops you may gain a little bit of up travel, but you risk a lot by...
