  1. NAPA Maxi Trac 300LPM dual cylinder air compressors - list of identical/rebranded compressors, some in stock

I have your trickflate with your 4 way air up hoses and gauge. Is this mount for my 2 door available or coming soon? Has anyone wired this compressor up to a bronco yet to give wiring details? Thx
  2. ICON Tie Rod Ends

He said his dealer already told him that his stronger tie rods wouldn't affect his warranty. Seems odd that any dealer would make that statement but good news if true.
  3. ICON Tie Rod Ends

your steering rack would still be covered under warranty after upgrading to stronger ICON tie rods?

Fox and Shock Surplus were both super cool. I think the lack of a specific ride height number was just due to differences in vehicles, especially weight. It's possible that the shocks are specifically tuned (out of the box) more towards the spring preload at the advertised lift height. So it's...

Will do. I am packing up my house so it'll only be street driving for a little while until I get out of here, but I will post my thoughts after I play with the settings a bit more. Ya these are the coilovers they had in the video. As soon as i hesrd they had to install a different suspension...

Thanks. Ya I am very happy with the 2 door. So far in the 18hrs since install I have just played with DSC settings a little for on road manners. So far quite soft on the high speed soaks up all decent sized road hazards including speed bumps very well and a bit stiffer on the low speed...

Thx. It's an IAG raptor style grill. I just wasn't a fan of my matte grey badlands grille and this one looks a little more old school and rugged. It has raptor style lights in it for those who like those but I didn't hook them up. Fitment was great, just like factory.

LOL. Your hater personna shows very quickly. Do your own research and you'll find that lots of 4x4 companies have started receiving their sets lately. As for 'dipping the question' one person said they hoped I would report back after some time on them. Which is the plan since they only went on...

These were not Fox early demo models, they were Shock Surplus' first new set received that they were going to demo. Proper sets have been shipping out to suppliers for several weeks now. Not sure where you got October from.

Thank you and you're quite welcome. I heard so many people say the same thing so I figured I would guinea pig the low lift coilover settings. When I had called Fox they didn't even have a specific answer for me on how low I could set them. This was as low as I cared to set the fronts because it...

Just for anyone in a situation like me where you are planning to keep factory Sasquatch tires for a while so you aren't looking for maximum lift out of your coilovers and in fact might be looking for closer to the minimum amount of lift. We installed Fox performance elite coilovers, Icon UCAs...
  13. Tow Hitch Install

Here is the snapshot of the metal housing mount and cover I used for anyone interested, $18. You can see in this pic a bit better why the Ford 4 pin won't plug into the back of this setup.
  14. Tow Hitch Install

If you aren't using the cover I used, I don't see why you couldn't use the Ford 4 pin on the Curt plug n play harness, just use the appropriate sized solder sleeves and some shrink tubing. Afterall I cut the 4 pin off the Curt harness and installed a different 4 pin and it works fine.
  15. Tow Hitch Install

You pretty much have to use the 4 pin connector end that comes with the cover. The cover has a 4 pin setup molded into it and the connector that comes with it plugs into the back of that using a weatherproof style connection, so the trailer side plugs into the pins molded in the cover and the...
  16. Tow Hitch Install

I used the Curt hitch and Curt harness, the plug into taillight connections made wiring neat and simple and the extra power wire terminals at the battery make hooking up the power wire simple. The most time consuming part was putting the nylon protective sleeve over the long power wire lol. I...
  17. Modified steering op-ed & discussion: know the risks when you modify steering / tie rods

Is it your opinion that with fox coilovers and icon uca's that ford would never warranty steering damage no matter what? It seems safest route for steering rack if the plan is to avoid damaging it and paying to replace it is just to carry spare stock tie rods on the trail in case one breaks...

May I ask what tie rod setup you were using when your steering broke?
