Wow that's a good looking rack! and, yeah...
  2. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

    Pricey but well reviewed: https://rokblokz.com/products/ford-bronco-2021-mud-flaps
  3. New look!

That's gorgeous. I don't have the discipline to keep a black vehicle clean.
  4. Recent Resale Value

I've been actively watching nationwide used Bronco prices for about a year and a half. Over the past 3 months the sweet spot dealer asking price for a '21 Badlands manual lux has been $36,900. Once the price drops to that point it sells within 2 days. I paid $1000 over that for mine just this...
  5. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Gorgeous trucks! When the kids were really young we had the Expy EL packed to the gills AND had a loaded basket on the roof. I don't miss the days of bringing the high chair, walker, potty, bouncer, toys, etc, etc, etc... The first trip where where we were back to loading up with just...
  6. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Yeah, I'm going to sell the Expy once I fix the issues. I can't in good conscience sell a broken vehicle, so I'll get everything sorted and sell it as a working high-mileage truck. I'm sure someone will enjoy it as a great beach fishing vehicle and give it the love I don't have time to anymore.
  7. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

My wife laughed about the whole thing because pretty much every one of my vehicles started off with some weird story, whether it be flying out to the middle of nowhere to pick it up and drive home or rescuing someone's SER Spec-V that was on its way to the scrapyard. I love a good story, but...
  8. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

That Expedition is on 35" tires, 2019 Raptor wheels, has all the right updates, and looks properly proportioned. I did it up with the expectation of keeping it indefinitely but, as we all know, life likes throwing curveballs. Still, it owes me nothing. It's been a great truck.
  9. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Honestly I'm fortunate to have a family that's adaptable to my nonsense. Few things ever go as planned and thankfully they roll with it :)
  10. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

When my wife and I first met I was in the middle of a Toyota Tacoma desert race truck build. She stuck with me through those years and can, likely against her will, explain better than 99.9% of the world how reservoir bypass shocks work. She's beyond done listening to my vehicular ramblings lol...
  11. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Everything I read points me in that direction. We have a road trip to Acadia planned for the end of August so I'll get it some time this Summer and test it out with the family. If they approve we'll take the Bronco, otherwise we're riding in my wife's Explorer Sport. Really can't lose either...
  12. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Either you or your wallet aren't thinking big enough 😁 Right from those early promo pics that Ford released I just loved the color. I was bummed when Ford dropped it as an option and was then leaning towards Cactus Gray but the price increases kept me from ordering a new one anyway. I'm still...
  13. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

You make a really good point -- when I had my 1984 full size I called it a Bronco rather than a truck even though it was just a short F150 with a cooler cap. These new Bronco are definitely their own animals. I've never driven or owned anything else like it. Today I was supposed to be...
  14. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

lmao as unfathomably big as the internet is it's such a small place!
  15. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

It's true. On the drive home the transmission started shifting funny and the puddle lights started flickering. I'm sure the 5.4v timing noise will rear its head as soon as I get the other items sorted and the truck goes up for sale lol
  16. Expensive vacation souvenir: a Badlands Bronco

Bit of a story here so bear with me... Spent the holiday week vacationing in Florida visiting family, as we often do. Drove from NJ to Florida in a 2010 Expedition with 210k+ miles. I'm a big fan of preventative maintenance and regularly get 200k+ miles out of my vehicles so I wasn't...
  17. 💰 [Updated 8/14] Official 2024 Bronco PRICES and Model Changes -- Colors, Trims, Equipment & More

I had the same issue with the Expedition. If you have a bench vise you can bend easily those mounting posts to get the headrest in just the right position for you. If your plan is to replace them anyway there's no harm in trying the free option and possibly save some money.
  18. Bold Performance Axle-Back Exhausts for Ford Bronco (Toms Offroad Installation)

I like it too. /posted just for the lulz and not to be taken seriously
