Nice. good info. Can you share more on the kicker key 200.4? Did you need it to power the Kicker CS 6.5in speakers in the back? did you wire everything directly off the rear existing wires? any Pics on how it looks?
lol same re basketball. 2 base blockers only for the front 2 in dash. Don't need them for the back. you will need butt connectors for each speaker x2 so get like 10+
I only did the 2 in the back and 2 in the dash didn't touch the 6 inch

1. I researched the Base Blockers before I did it. Answer is no, but if you pump up the base you prob want them as it prevents that annoying distortion. Prob worth doing it as it only takes a few more minutes and costs like $5
2. Yes there will be an improvement. I found they are much...
Thanks will review again! Now you got me wondering if forscan changed worked or not:) I only put the new 4 inch speakers in the back and pretty sure I get base when I slide the EQ up. not sure why Ford made this part so complicated!
No rattle with the front speakers b/c it's tight fit but I did wrap a little sponge around the base blocker to keep it from knocking around at all. It was very easy and just like the video. At low levels the speakers sound alike from stock but when you turn turn them up it's much better...
This guy did a great job in this video so I'm sharing if anyone else wants to do it. Very easy. I went with different speakers Kickers and they fit perfectly. Took me like 45 min to change out all 4 speakers and you can use the Forscan app too to unlock more power for the rear speakers as per...
Reporting back in case anyone else has the same issue as I was stuck. Issue solved
1. Original adapter with toggle - no luck -kept saying "PCM number" needed etc
2. Thanks to above post- got this new adapter and presto! Here's the one I got...
I plugged in the forscan device and connected to my bronco, it connected but wouldn't recognize my vehicle. I see the PCM in the engine compartment against the firewall but no way to find the PCM number. I sure don't want to take it all off to get to it, but Ford told me it's behind that...
