So I have the TOR top and recently installed the TOR tailgate reinforcement. After putting on the top, I heard a lot of noise that I hadn't noticed before because the soft-top was a rattle trap. After putting on the tailgate reinforcement, 95% of the noises are gone. I think the great bulk of...
So here's the tech notes for the side cameras: "Tech followed pinpoint tests L and M and when tech removed all trim from both side mirrors to gain access to camera connector, found that pin 1 and 2 from IPMB still had voltage when both cameras were disconnected indicating the coaxial cable to...
Check with Todd probably. If it was an issue then it probably wouldn't latch. The freight carrier had dropped/hit mine right on one to the arms that attaches to the hinge. New one being sent today, then I could probably see about the gaps.
My spare tire is off as well, unfortunately so is my tailgate. Hit a snag installing the tire carrier. It actually is starting to resemble the Bronco DR... the possibilities. :ROFLMAO:
@604Bronco TOR can certainly chime in, but my thinking is the bump stops on the rear of the third light are probably unnecessary now that the tailgate isn't bearing any weight from the spare.
I didn't get to put on the TOR tire carrier today so hopefully tomorrow. Love the idea and the tire carrier bearing the weight of the tailgate vs the other way around.
Went ahead and had dealership flush the transmission fluid at 36k miles. Came back with report of "contaminated/burned". At least now with the PPE pan, I can change it myself.
Hopefully in July I'll be throwing on the RK triangulated 4 link. Saw a video that I believe they were getting 26inch travel with forklift. Not sure if it changed a bit when taken out in the wild.
Mine goes out intermittently. Just about once a month I lose one of the side cameras, but it starts working after shutting engine off. Dealership couldn't fix it.
As far as rubber squeaks, I got this for the OEM top for my wife. I haven't taken the time to put it on, but been told it's a magic cure. I believe Ford uses it (which by the price I'm sure only billion dollar companies could afford it...)...
@604Bronco I've put a towel on the passenger side top behind the targa top so as not to scratch the top. Roll passenger window down and keep door open. Then lift in the middle and move top to the passenger side and slightly back on the towel just placed. Then get out and lift the part outside...
