  1. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

At the end of the day…you’re still in the back of a Bronco! Haha. Limited room for sure. We’re actually getting an offroad teardrop trailer this summer that I’m really excited about. Has a queen sized bed inside.

From Wikipedia: " The Alabama Hills were named for the CSS Alabama, a Confederate warship deployed during the American Civil War. When news of the ship's exploits reached prospectors in California sympathetic to the Confederates, they named many mining claims after the ship, and the name came...

  5. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

Are you doing this with more than one person in the back? IMO one of the big benefits of the Deepsleep is it contours to the sides and uses the space efficiently. This is helpful in my case being 6'3'' and having a wife and two dogs in there as well.
  6. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

It's definitely thick/durable material. Plus I always cover it with a flannel sheet and/or a blanket. Haven't had any issues with the dogs, or with any punctures in general. Deepsleep's website states its meant to hold up to use with dogs/pets.
  7. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

I've had the Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress for my 4-door Badlands for a year now and recently made a review video (below) from my recent trip to the Sierras. Here's what the product looks like rolled up. Note that you have to purchase both sides individually, and that what I have...

Yes, Alabama Hills is on BLM land, and the trails are very easy. Southern California has an abundance of public land... some of which features some serious rock crawling - notably Johnson Valley, which hosts the King of Hammers this month.

Love Tremors! And thanks, really appreciate it. We're learning as we go. My wife does most of the camera work, so I'll pass along the feedback.
  11. Finding an EPIC campsite and sleeping in the back of the Bronco - Alabama Hills [pics and video]

Regarding Bronco vs. universal, I can't comment on the specific differences, other than it is built specifically to fit the Bronco; I would just go with that. The only accessories I bought were the tool holders, which is perfect for mounting a shovel, and the hitch stabilizer.

  14. Finding an EPIC campsite and sleeping in the back of the Bronco - Alabama Hills [pics and video]

Mazourka Peak / Pappose Flat has been on my list for quite a while. Will get up there in the spring this year probably. Made it up to Coyote Flats in June ‘22. So glad I went then, because I believe it’s been closed for over a year after last winter. Incredible place.
  15. Finding an EPIC campsite and sleeping in the back of the Bronco - Alabama Hills [pics and video]

I really like sleeping in the Bronco. It's great for cold and/or windy weather (as opposed to tent camping). The DeepSleep is inflatable memory foam, and is really comfortable. I am 6' 3'', and while there's not tons of extra head/foot room, I do fit in it fine (even with my wife and two dogs...
