I ripped my CAI out recently for a AFE and while doing that, the input of the turbo on passenger side had the rubber 45 over tightened and pinched in. The hole was no bigger than an inch. At least with my plastic pipe now it’s a consistent 2” hole for air.

Pulling the trim pieces off wasn’t that difficult without a trim kit. But I did purchase one after. I see myself in future pulling it off again.

Before I go and throw some on I was curious what’s the max spacer I can place. Has anyone thrown a 2” on with modding or does it need trimming. I’m well aware of rocks being flung and potential bearing stuff. Just looking for anyone with spacers and real world input please.
