Thatās funny š
I havenāt looked into an exhaust because I really havenāt heard any 4 banger sound goodā¦ever.
That being said; Iāve killed mine plenty of times thinking it was already off, when I parked because I canāt hear it, due to the radio being on low.
Foot is always on the brake so...
Iāll be dead honest, I donāt know what theyāre called as far as the connections go. They were attached to the wheel assembly (just the connecting fittings I could get to) On the fuse box, there are three 7mm bolts that that run down the middle that seemed loose.
UPDATE:
After getting underneath the bronco and checking all my connections and tightening down the fuse panel I took it on the beach.
No codes, no boat anchor and she ran like a raped spider monkey!
I really wish I know which one of those things was the culprit but I didnāt have the patience...
You wonāt be stuck haha!
Iāll ask my Sales Manager if we can track other dealers orders (Iām pretty sure we can) if you DM me your VIN and order number šš¼
My service manager is letting me bring a tech out for a test drive next week at the beach. Heās been with us for 20 plus years so this will be my best shot at figuring this thing.
I just want to go play with my toy already lol!
My first tank was premium and I experienced the same issue.
When I hit the gas it certainly feels like itās bogging down but I just donāt know if itās cutting the gas or applying my brakes.
Thanks for the reply! And yes. Thatās exactly what happens unfortunately. After I round the turn and start driving south, around 400-500 yards it starts acting up. Exact same spot every time. Then Iāll got into the first pullout to the right, she starts driving fine after a few minutes. Then...
Yessir, fort Fischer is where Iāve been taking it. Nobody else has been having this exact issue, which makes me think it has to do with my setup (2.3L/Manual)
Also- if you ordered from Capital Ford of Wilmington, and you donāt have a salesperson that youāre working with, I can keep you updated...
I have yet to have it happen on dry pavement. But Iām going to the beach tonight. That is interesting that you notice an issue after an update. I hadnāt thought of that yet. It seems like our issues could be related. Iām a salesman at the ford dealer where I bought my bronco, so I do have the...
Copy that. I do have forscan (havenāt used it yet). Iām going to check my wheel speed sensors and take it back out in the beach this weekend. Thank you for the advise itās much appreciated!
I keep going back and forth. Youāre right, it shouldnāt have an issue on flat ground. As I posted earlier, I feel like it has to do with one of the drivers assistant systems freaking out. Iād hate to think a 23; albeit base bronco, would have any issues at all. Itās frustrating Iāll say that.
I absolutely will. Thanks for the insight! Sustained 4wd may be extremely light sustained 4wd
Iām taking it to some light trails this weekend so Iāll post an update after I get back.
I have a 23 but that could still be an issue. It very well could be something due to over hearing. I kept a close eye on my transmission temp and it was slightly hotter than normal but nothing alarming. However- that makes the most sense now that you say that. And yes, after waiting, it goes...
I read this one too. I wonder if the throw out bearing has anything to do with the sort of limp mode Iāve experienced on the sand. My service dept probably hasnāt had this issue yet because itās still not ābeach weatherā here in Wilmington
