I made one too but bigger, thought it'd be fun to conceptualize a small bed trail truck without a roof :)
I also recently made a Bronco Sport mini-bed concept too: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/ford-maverick-pickup-truck-renderings-photoshop.5/post-34
I'm a bit bummed on the tailgate choice but I get it, they didn't want to put the tire on an arm. I guess I'm one of those few who would probably just take the entire spare off on occasion.
Anyways, I thought this thing was cool on that awesome looking 2dr, that's what I'd cook on... much...
Sorry to be so last minute!
Is it possible to take off the rear door?
Will the towing numbers change closer to actual release?
Are roof rails an option with the soft top? Seems unlikely but thought I'd ask
I wonder how difficult it would be to unpin the swing out gate entirely, for temporary situations. The only reason I ask is hardware store runs would be easier if it was flat and open out the back.
Anyone else wishing the rear hatch dropped? It makes kayaks and hardware store runs easier I think!
I was partially hoping the spare dropped with the hatch altogether instead of the original swing arm system, but to lose the truck like hatch...
You'd think with all this safety stuff they pack in now that a Tow mode would become a new standard-- limiting top speed and maybe even angle. Anyways, maybe you can tow 5000lbs by pushing it occasionally but it seems like both tongue weight and transmission would be at risk here, no?
