If anyone else happens to stumble on this thread with a similar issue, it turned out the bolts for the crossbars installed by the factory were loose and missing “insulators”. Dealer took apart the whole roll bar trim before finding the issue. doh.

This exact thing happened to me too - same email, same production date. As of this evening the online tracker updated to scheduled for production with the date specified in the email (6/12).
