Do you have a link or instructions for your install? I recall thinking this looked awesome, but that itās a huge headache with the 2.7 because of an extra radiator/ coolant lines.
Iād love a winch and prefer the hidden look, but the front parking sensors, camera, and ACC get used all the time...
Regardless of manufacturer, if you have the factory steel bumpers, and want to install rear flaps, be sure you understand how youāll be installing them and confirm what youāre buying is compatible before making the purchase. Donāt make the same mistake I didā¦
Anyone have luck installing Rek Gens on the rear for a Sasquatch with steel bumpers? The instructions tell you to simply reuse the three bolt locations holding on the rear bumper caps/ extensions, but my bumper caps are smooth and apparently never came with those. So when you upgrade to steel...
Particularly if you care about keeping the front camera and adaptive cruise capabilities, I think you end up needing to hide the winch under/behind the inter cooler.
Some good install videos/options:
Wow, theyāre like at the top of the engine bay. I couldnāt find them at first because I was looking right past them down around the transmission. If those get submerged, youāre basically in standing water almost over the hood.
@Panzer948 I think most houses in Carova leave the passes there for use by people that come and stay at their places. I would just ping and ask the owner to confirm. Property owners get long term passes
Carova is an obvious choice just north of Corolla up to the VA state line and with wild horses all over- driving up and hanging on the beach for the day is kind of the thing to do there, but you probably want to look into getting a pass if youāre staying a lot. We parked when we forgot our pass...
Agree 100%. Iāll crawl over glass to buy from these guys again. Theyāre great.
The roads in WV are twisty and beautiful, and if you take back roads through a holler or two, be prepared for limited cell signal.
And the Bronco? Well we reserved two years ago and itās honestly shocking to me a)...
Congrats and nice to meet you there today!
I would just echo that Stephens was truly a pleasure to do business with and the Bronco is an amazing car. Two years since the reservations were takenā¦ wow. What a day.
Ray is likely picking me up on Friday. I think he was out of the office today.
Good news is that it sounds like Uber works in the area, so thereās always that.
Do you know who we should email to coordinate arrival/ pickup from Charleston? Thinking Iāll stay the night Thursday, coordinate pickup on Friday, and drive home Fri night.
Iāll email John as a default, but not sure if Ray or someone else would be better.
If I had to bet, it only makes logical sense that they use their trucks efficiently, and try to load trucks up with Broncos going to a limited number of dealers. I think weāve seen that the system Ford uses to communicate progress has plenty of room for improvementā¦
hope for the best, expect...
Mine is on the Stephens site but has shown as built (not shipped) for a while now. Awesome news, @Compta38! Hopefully thereās a truck full in WV now.
