84 Piece Bronco Tool Kit If you are looking to blow some money on your Bronco, I really like the Bronco Kit from Ford. List price is pretty high but you can find it for less. It has just about every tool you need to carry for those off road emergencies. I've added a larger gauge spool of...

@BobN - USAF - Even though I can't reconnect with Forscan. It did appear to write the update I needed as sound is coming out of the AFT speaker that I added. I don't see any way to control it. Sync4 looks the same.
  3. Forscan Connected, Made Change, Failed to disconnect and now will not connect to Bronco 23

Well now, I finally had a chance to check out my Bronco with the apparently failed Forscan/Bronco connection. I didn't try connecting to Forscan/Bronco again but I did check my rear speaker. Sound is coming out of it. I guess it did write to the ACM before it faild. Does it sound great...
  4. Forscan Connected, Made Change, Failed to disconnect and now will not connect to Bronco 23

I'm new to Forscan. My Bronco is a 23 Big Bend that came with the 6 speaker delete option. Yesterday, I installed a Ford Fusion amp and a kicker 6.5 speaker. Very easy overall. Downloaded, activated Forscan, using the recommended dongle. Connected to the Bronco. Copied/saved original...

Thanks. Yesterday I took apart the rear interior (floor and passenger side). Exposed the fake amp and speaker. Replaced same with a Ford Fusion amp and a 6.5 Kicker speaker. Pretty easy. Forscan was not. I got it to read my Bronco. Copied the as is. Then I made the change to activate the...

Well, I've had Black Diamond steel rims for several months for my 23 Big Bend. Finally made an appointment with Minco's who swapped out the tires and TPMS for me today. I love me some steel rims. Likely an infection from my WW2 jeep (and Olive Drab Disease). Once I got home, I jacked up...
  7. Bronco Market Share down to 25%, while Jeep is 40% and 4Runner 35%

I went to the Ford website a few minutes ago. I searched inventory near me. Changed the URL to 500 mile radius. The website inventory is not forthcoming in that it would only say there are 100+ Broncos near me. I sorted by lowest to highest price. The Big Bends, I saw were 42K (2 Door) 44K...
  8. What’s this metal piece under my Bronco?

I got the same piece of junk on my 23 Big Bend. Didn't come with any skids just that thing and those stupid plastic dust deflectors. When I added I did the fuel tank skid I trashed it. It bolts into a cross member. No big deal.

I'm claiming victory over the Fab Four Vengeance rear bumper sensor problems I've had. Ever since I bolted on the FF rear bumper, the sensor did not work. It was so annoying that disabled the sensors in the dash software. What changed? Well, I found a video on Youtube ( ) for the Premium...
  10. March 18, First year of ownership

I've now owned my 2023 Big Bend mid package with locking rear differential for one year. 5,947 miles of mostly pure fun. It was a duo top with the hard top installed and no instructions on how to install the soft top. I bought the J-Barr system and a winch from Amazon. Mounted the winch...

It would be great if all 11 of us (or 10 not sure what happened to lined out Dan) could show up for the event.

The Bronco Vs Jeep Day looks like it will be happening on May 4 in Perry, Ga. It's a bit of a drive from Tallahassee. It is 150 miles from my house and Google Maps says it will take about 2 hours and 40 minutes or there about. Last year was the first time and it still had a good turnout...

Earlier this week, I was watching a video on Youtube by Krista of Buckleupoffroad. She said that the Flashcal for Bronco is now updated for 2023. So I ordered and it came this morning. I plugged it in to my computer so that I could update it, if needed. It appeared to need it. Using it was...
  14. Factory Fog Light Switch

When I replaced my standard plastic bumper (with fogs) to a modular bumper I added after market fogs and used the original wiring harness to connect them to the stock fog switch. I have a 23 Big Bend mid package and I didn't realize until this past weekend that I had auto-sensing bright lights...

I ordered the ASFIR Fuel Tank Skid Plate. This is a 1/4 inch thick aluminum skid plate made up of two plates and 6 hangers. It arrived very quickly from Israel via DHL. Installing this was surprisingly easy. Only took 30 minutes according to the instructions, however, I seemed to have...

After adding the table to the rear door, I pondered what to do next? Well, why not try the Gearshade Limb Riser Kit. I have to admit I'm not likely to every be in a position to use the kit but I liked the look so why not be a poser? LOL. Installing the US made kit is pretty straight forward...

I added some more edging to get rid of the electrical tape I used. Didn't really need the tap as nothing touched. I added the edging to the two sides and along one edge that wasn't mentioned. Anyway, no noise from it during two 4.5 hour highway drives. Nor banging around in my "hilly" yard...

  19. Bronco Magazine

You can also get this magazine thru Zinio which is a digital "store". I've had that issue for a long time. Disappointed it is only a Tread special and not a thing. Since it says Winter, maybe it will become a quarterly?

Added an inexpensive tailgate table to my Bronco. It is cheap at about $110. Has pretty good instructions, which could be a bit better. All hardware was provided. There wasn't enough rubber edging to fully follow the instructions. I made do. So far I don't hear any rattling. I was going...
