I have a completely stock '23 WT. Got it in May. My check engine light came on in July. Ford Pass app notification said the same thing it told you. Brought it to my dealer. They immediately said the CC was shot, or something to that effect, and said they'd order a new one for me. Took 3 months...
Not sure if this will be helpful to anyone, but I see a lot of questions about how to upgrade the stock B&O system, and I was too intimidated to even attempt it on my own...
TLDR: I paid my local car audio guy $3k to replace the B&O system with a complete JL Audio system, and it sounds awesome...
Thank you very much Baja Designs for the excellent follow up and resolution!
For what itās worth, I never would have tampered with the lights if the written instructions from 4x4truckleds didnāt specifically tell me to rotate the bezels and lensesā¦
In the future they should buy the lights...
I just had to do this to the same window on my ā23 4-door Wildtrak. The other poster is correct, but Ford Service told me to hold for 10 seconds instead of 5, and I had to do it a few time before it āacceptedā the re-program. It wonāt beep or acknowledge anythingā¦should just start working...
The warranty manager (Technical Services Lead) AT Baja Designs told me the newest gen (2023) Squadrons shouldnāt be opened. I have no opinion on the matter. Just sharing my personal experience (condensation intrusion causing failure), and what I was told by an employee of the companyā¦
Agree with this 1000%. I'm a cyclist...I spend ungodly amounts of money at my local bike shop, not because they're cheap (they're more expensive than many alternatives), but because they take care of me and stand behind the products they sell. If I bought a set of carbon wheels from them, and...
Appreciate your response. Just want to be absolutely clear that I have NO issue with BD. Their lights are awesome, and their service has been equally awesome. My issue is with Adam, his company, their poor service, and the fact that their written instructions specifically tell you to unbolt and...
Before I even get into what happened, I want to state that I know Adam and his company are active and valued on this forum. Second, I work in sales, and am well aware that negative, one sided reviews can be harmful and detrimental to business and morale, and I encourage any appropriate...
Checking to see if anyone has had issues with the Rockworkx Thumb Screws?
EDIT: I found the 4mm spacers in the shipping envelope. Installed them and all's well. Thanks for the advice. Just wish they put the spacers in the box with the thumb screws...
Iām on the east coast and their customer...
I guess this is merely a PSAā¦
ā23 Wildtrak. 7k miles.
Service engine light came on last week. FordPass app said Catalytic converter issue. Scheduled service appointment with local Ford dealer. Went this morning. Confirmed problem. Will be covered under warranty of course.
But the part is back...
Maybe not exactly a helpful response, but I don't care for either of those sticker things you're considering. Both sit on the face of the white letters, and the 'real carbon fiber' ones look cheap and silly. I have a Carb Gray WT, and went with gloss black full overlays, which match the grille...
I installed RB30s on my '23 4-door WT about 6 weeks ago, and there's no slope (that I can perceive). Re: width, I'm pretty sure the OEM ones are 6" instead of 7", so the RB30s likely stick out about an inch more. I don't think they're too wide, but I wouldn't want them any wider, and if I were...
I went yesterday and did not get the $75 insurance. Of the people I spoke to, some did, some didn't. The trails are extremely challenging, but more fun than scary. If you follow instructions and don't do anything really stupid, I think you'll be fine. If on the other hand, the $75 allows you to...
I went yesterday. It was fantastic. Awesome experience. Exceeded expectations.
For what it's worth, the reason they don't use manuals came up a few times throughout the day...First, when they started Off-Roadeo a few years ago, the first people they invited to test out the courses were...
I have the 1Up 2 bike rack. Have used it for years. Works great. Fits on my Bronco fine, with 8" hitch extender. It's HEAVY...but sturdy and well built.
Two things to keep in mind;
1. Yes, it sways a bit because the extender isn't super tight in the hitch. Could be solved by adding a hitch...
Thatās the exact link I used when I bought them. No idea why itās now dead, but I even went back through my Amazon orders, and theyāre no longer available in Black. Found this...
I think the XLs are plenty long. Got some road debris on the door panels and rear fenders before installation, but nothing since. If you want ultimate protection, Iām sure longer is better, but also overkill for most applications.
