by the way guys, one thing I did, that I would recommend for everyone else, is to double nut the carriage bolts. I used 7/16-14 Top Lock nuts to back up what came with the kit.

Dealership services aren’t what they once were. I don’t trust dealers to do anything short of required warranty repairs. I do all of my own maintenance and mods.
Then everything stays in the dimmer setting as if it’s dark outside. Which makes me think the sensor is functioning. But is it possible for the sensor to over function?

I finally got through to someone!!! He gave me a full update on production of my order. Looks like it’s going to be another couple weeks for the tread plates to be built and painted, which is perfectly fine. Like I said before, I’m happy to wait. Just needed an update.
