My bad.
It was a rocker switch in a small, separate rectangular housing next to the light. Not a button toggle.
I do like the Baja Design dome. Good way to bring light lower into the bay if it was needed. Or add a few on the bar for "spot" lighting, like can lights that can be aimed on a...
I think that was the best part of the advice.
I have the Mabett overhead. For me, it throws enough light into the back.
Saw (literally) a Bronco where the guy used a rock light (HF?) just inside on the roof panel. He wired a toggle switch to it to turn it on/off. Don't know how he hooked it...
I think this is too much ado about nothing. Q1 comparisons are never comparable. Too many outside variables to determine a real trend. Like model year end dates, production pushes, PY sell off, rate fluctuations, and so on.
There needs to be 3 or 4 quarters of data to show a buyer's trend in...
I opted for the leather in my Badlands. Not because of the material, but for the additional seat adjustments. Leather is more maintenance. My buddy has MGV and I like the material - only the seats don't adjust as mine do.
My only 2 cents - how long will you keep the Bronco?
MGV is good if you...
The dealership would have to get the local Ford rep out to approve the warranty. Again, the weld should have held. I would try that first. I would show them the nut (only) and let them see how the weld failed.
Assuming the above posted photo shows the correct spot, a clip nut(aka U-nut)...
How did the nut come off? A weld should not fail like that. That would be a manufacturing defect.
Is you vehicle still under warranty? If so, I would talk to the dealer about getting that fixed.
Having a shop weld the nut back on should be Ford's expense. The labor to get access to safely weld...
Now I understand your point. I apologize for the shade. Also edited my post to tone it down.
Dealership sales and marketing people misuse terminology, intentionally or ignorantly, to confuse and mislead buyers. My hope is inexperienced buyers learn from this.
Everybody has their perspective...
@voxel - Marketing folks misuse the term "invoice" price. The true invoice price is what a dealer pays Ford for the vehicle.
Ford issues a "markup invoice" to dealers that gives the dealer several price points to use for negotiating sales. It includes a base price, advertising allowance, dealer...
This is your 3rd time asking the same question.
The 2 previous times you asked:
How much longer until discounts are offered?
Will Ford ever lower MSRP?
THE ANSWER IS NO! and NO! and NO!
You will never see invoice pricing because you are not a dealer. Ever. They are in business to make money...
Appreciate you're trying to raise awareness to a safety issue, but you may have been tricked by the photography. What I believe you are seeing is a lensing affect on the angles and a distortion of the shadowing. Remember that is a 2D image of a 3D object. Your eye uses the photographed element...
The question is - what specifically have they tested?
What you need to do is review the wiring schematic with the service manager to make sure each connection point and each component is tested. That is what needs to be written into the service order.
From what you provided, it seems the...
To augment what PlayTime is stating, current scanners are now using VLA repeater-booster technology with a 1200 feet range. This is effective for attacking individual Fobs against a single vehicle far away and apart (the Lambo sitting in a long driveway). It is less effective at public garages...
It does help your shackles match the license plate. ;)
For my personal preference, I would return it and buy some other brand, or Ford's.
You should really like your mods. Your going to be looking at that a lot.
If you read the original article, you would see it is a trend projection based on (limited) available data. An automotive piece meant to focus on selling cars. Nothing more. Did you get caught up in the marketing moment?
Bronco resale data is artificially inflated by high demand of a new...
An alignment shop is probably not the best choice. I would take it to a repair shop with a frame analyzer where they can take proper measurements from consistent reference points. Without a proven square and parallel side to side reference point, you are comparing apples and oranges.
You may want to rethink that flare mount for the air line. That could be ripped out by a rock, or branch, while you are out wheeling. It could tear the whole mount apart if the hose is yanked hard enough. I believe there is plenty of room on your bumper for an air line connector.
Also think...
I agree on the relay use.
I would add an inline fuse between the relay and light, close to the light. The most heat (resistance) is going to come from the light. [The actual flow of electrical current is from the negative connection to the positive connection.] If the light were to short...
I am not advocating for any one to be fired. They did that to themselves for failing to follow Ford and dealership protocols and requirements. That is how sales people and finance people get fired at dealerships. Fact of business life at dealerships.
You are assuming so much and were never a...
Understand that the dealership is REQUIRED by Ford to obtain all A,Z,X or D Plan information BEFORE the sales contract is COMPLETED and signed, if they want to be reimbursed for selling at the Plan price. At this point, it is their problem. The contract is now consummated (yeah, like in...
