Bumping this thread. Based on the latest info. regarding reservation holder's orders does anyone think we'll actually see a Bronco at a Ford dealer down here in 2021? I would assume the dealers here will get some allocation but since there were no reservations, maybe not?
Been holding up well, it has almost 190 k on it. Luckily my 1997 was built when Jeep still understood that steering was important (if you don't follow Jeep forums the new JL apparently has a lot of steering issues) so I can dodge the larger pot holes. I'll have an extra bowl of shrimp and...
Yes, cost to ship from Jacksonville FL is about $1,500. You have to pay a tax based on Hacienda's perceived value of the car which is typically higher than the real value.
Yep I think so too. Built a Willy’s (the higher trim one) today and it was only a thousand less than the Black Diamond’s starting price. You get so much more with a no options Black Diamond. Jeep is in for some serious competition.
I'm starting to warm up to the Base model. At first I was all in on the Black Diamond. Kind of disappointed a rear locker isn't available as an option, but I've made it this far in life without one so do I really need it? Probably not but it would be nice. Assuming 33's will fit without...
Me too. I tried to reserve on the Ford site, it says I have an invalid zip cope. Oh well I wasn't expecting to see them here till the end of 2021 anyway. Ford is missing out on a ton of reservations here.
Very strange to bash something that is just as capable as your ride because it has some creature comforts. I’m not looking at the OBX model but wouldn’t look down on anyone who was. Smells of posturing and jealously. Not a good look.
Y’all need to relax and consider yourselves lucky you can make a reservation. I live in Puerto Rico, have a zip code a little white van comes by everyday with US Postal service on the side, but according to Ford my zip is invalid, thus no reservation for me. I would love to just have a...
That’s kind of what I was thinking but the spec sheet typically denotes when something is available with the Sasquatch package. But the spec sheet also list one of GOAT modes as “mut and ruts” assuming it should be mud and ruts. So who knows what other errors are in there.
I'm no gear head, nor would I even classify myself as an off roader. Had a 1997 Jeep tj since I was 16, open diffs, 4 cyl, small body lift with 30 in. tires. Meets all my requirements as capable 4x4 here in Puerto Rico (i.e. diving in the sand, sketchy mountain roads which are mostly paved, farm...
Controversial take, but if people were rational they wouldn’t buy anything on credit. No need to create a spreadsheet to figure that out. We like to pick on certain types of credit like student loans and say if they weren’t available college would be cheaper. While true if you couldn’t finance a...
Manual is all I’ve ever driven, I mean not exclusively I drive autos from time to time. When I drive my wife’s car and have to make a sudden stop my left foot instinctively looks for the clutch and my right hand reaches for the shifter. Just habit, nothing against autos I guess I’m getting old...
Got to pay to play. Want lockers on a Jeep, get a Rubicon, want a manual you’re stuck with the V6 (that is if you can even get a manual, last I heard they were exploding through the floor boards), want steel bumpers pay a couple grand more for LEDs. Everyone does it, kudos to Ford for offering...
I’m going with the black diamond, no options. Front and rear steel bumpers, vinyl interior (should be standard on every off road vehicle IMHO), and rear locker checks all my boxes. Right now I’m leaning towards race red, but the cactus grey is also interesting, need to see it in the flesh. White...
Nice, I love mine. She's long in tooth, almost 190,000 miles now. Those four little squirrels under the hood just keep going though. Not sure I can ever get rid of it, but I do need something more reliable/safe. Hell my wife barely lets the dog ride with me much less the kids. I looked hard at...
