  1. Just my little Raptor build.... $50k-ish

Beautiful build and that color is ridiculously awesome, big props for picking the color of the shocks. šŸ˜Ž I find it hilarious that people are giving you crap because you gave them an idea of the budget it takes to build something like this for themselves. Not to mention that you use it as a...
  2. Broaddict Tailgate table

Have the same table and itā€™s solid with no rattling as long as you get all the nuts tight the first time.
  3. Worst Accessories so far?

Sorry but all these just drive my OCD crazy because none of them match the door panel color, just canā€™t like them no matter how practical.
  4. Worst Accessories so far?

Add me to the list of Hula Gal in a Bronco, just gotta dig her out of the box.
  5. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

Yep thatā€™s it, just a bunch of idiots towing flat because trailers are too darn scary to back up.
  6. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

2014, pretty sure the JK and newer are non locking. Not sure why Ford couldnā€™t have programmed the steering to unlock when Neutral Tow was engaged, would make knowing you weā€™re still in drive mode much easier.
  7. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

You can if thereā€™s room or if you donā€™t have to back in to the spot. There has been times when my 34ā€™ motor home fit on the pad but had to park next to it or the Jeep wouldā€™ve been out in the road. Have I been at some campgrounds that I couldā€™ve had a trailer and been fine, sure but why limit...
  8. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

Not once when pulling my Wrangler did I ever turn the key to unlock the steering wheel and never had any issues with my Jeep tracking behind the motor home.
  9. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

So I hadnā€™t read the process for enabling and after reading I donā€™t understand the reasoning for not putting the transmission back into Park, the transfer case is disconnected so it shouldnā€™t matter and would be a good way of knowing right away if your not in Neutral Tow. I really have to...
  10. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

You can use a dolly with probably most FWD cars but not sure about RWD because it would be the same as flat towing. Also when towing with a dolly the front always has to be on the dolly because the car would never track straight. They do make some devices for disconnecting the driveshaft but not...
  11. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

Flat towing is necessary 99% of the time because there very few campgrounds that will have room for the RV, trailer, and car. Not having a physical gear shift to put the transfer case into neutral is one of the things that made me hesitant of trading my Jeep for the Bronco.
  12. Why wouldn't they work?

These kids and their fancy beadlock drag wheels, us old schoolers did it with screws and silicon. šŸ˜ˆ
  13. Installed - SSV Works rear pods w/ Kicker speakers

They fit perfectly with no interference of the seatbelt. I loaded mine with Infinity Reference 6532IX and they sound great. The only issue Iā€™ve seen so far is they hang down lower than stock pods so it does interfere when putting taller items in the back like a suitcase.
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? šŸ‘ØšŸ»‍šŸ”§šŸ§°šŸšæšŸ›

Road trip from OKC to Peoria, IL so had to stop at my favoritist place. Iā€™m impressed by how comfortable it is on the highway and plenty of power to merge and get around left lane squatters. Fuel mileage could be better but pushing a brick through the air at 80-85 mph canā€™t be easy.
  15. When to Vacate an Order

Another thing to ask about is if you go with the dealer further away will your local dealer do warranty work, some dealers are turning away work unless you bought the vehicle from them.
  16. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

I know itā€™s the redneck way but I just used some poly fill and Gorilla tape because I wasnā€™t sure if I was going to leave it plugged. I may come back later on and use a more permanent solution of spray foam.
  17. Charging MSRP On New Build?

I walked in and asked them if they had allocations and is there was any ADM if I ordered one and they said no so I just made sure to have a signed sales contract for the final price of the vehicle and doc fee. Also that the deposit was refundable if I didnā€™t take the vehicle. I had a really good...
  18. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

Another satisfied customer, real easy upgrade for less than the Ford credit so thatā€™s a win. I went with the 4ohm sub and closed off the port along with some polyfil and dynamat on the inside of the enclosure. The changes in Forscan were straightforward and worked the first try.
  19. Audio Solution UNDER $1K????

So just got done with the stereo upgrades and for under $700 you can get the Fusion amp, Kicker 6.75ā€ sub, Infinity Reference 4932CFX for the dash with the bass blocker harness, and Infinity Reference 6532IX for the rear installed in the SSV pods. What a big difference in sound quality and you...
  20. Mabett rear speaker pods - totally worth it

Sorry to poo poo these but the ones from SSV allow you to run a wider range of 6.5s because you donā€™t have to worry about them fitting under the cover. I just installed a set of Inifinity Reference 6532IX and they sound fantastic but donā€™t fit the the Mabetts. Plus you can feel good about...
