I just dropped a video showing my MetalCloak rear shock skid plates installation in case you're interested. They gave me that extra peace of mind while off-roading at Bronco Super Celebration West in Colorado last week.

Installed -- just in time for Bronco Super Celebration West!
Update: Added some better pics
Original pics (Sorry for the quality. I had to grab stills from the installation footage I shot.)

One more video from today's meet up. I used a slow shutter stop motion effect to give it somewhat of a timelapse look, walking up and down the parking lot.
We had a great time today! Can't wait to see everyone again next month.

Man, I would go, but I'll be coming back to Texas that night from Bronco Super Celebration West. Ironically, I'm camping at Palo Duro Canyon State Park that evening; however, I won't be in the area in time for the Merus ride. Next time!
So Badlands and Black Diamond have this factory skid plate on the rear lower trailing control arm mount.
The rest is still unclear to me. Do all Broncos with Sasquatch package have it or just Broncos with the front metal bash plate?
Your other option might be to cut and grind those factory skids off, then, assuming the rest of the mount is the same as the non-Badlands part, you could install one of the non-Badlands aftermarket skids.
Hi @Victorsen. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but I was curious to know what year your Badlands is? I noticed you don't have the (thin) factory skid plate welded to your control arm mount. Did you remove it, or is that how it came?
I remember smacking a rock at Bronco Off-roadeo back in 2021 on one of the rear lower trailing control arm mounts and thinking that's going to be really easy to damage on rocks.
My 2023 Badlands was built in January this year. I was pleasantly surprised when, after hitting the passenger rear...
Thanks. Yeah, I've contacted rocks on those previously, both on my Bronco and the one I drove at Bronco Off-roadeo. They already have light armor on them, so I just touch 'em up with Rust-Oleum as needed. If I did serious rock crawling, I might look into adding additional armor there.
