Now it sounds like it might only come with 4 doors. Definitely makes sense from a business perspective to focus on what would sell better since 4 door model would definitely sell better than 2 door, but 2 door was one of the defining characteristics of the Bronco. It will already feel different...

I hope those sources are right because that's a great signal that they're serious about going directly after the Wranglers. My hope is their goal is to exceed the Wrangler in capability, styling and pricing. If they can achieve that trifecta, they'll have a runaway hit with the 2020 Bronco.

Probably no risk of Bronco taking much from this? I hope. Bronco won't share a platform with it and will be for a completely different owner demographic and usage. The staircase running boards cracked me up.

Wow they copied the front end spot on! There's so much built up demand for the Bronco from 20 years of non-production, I think the first year sales after it returns will be gangbusters.

Yea if you're off roading on a tail somewhere the last thing you want to be is feel cooped up in a dark cabin. Feeling the elements in your cabin adds so much to the experience of being in a tough SUV.

I think it looks best in black or white. Black on black is just a bad mfer and white would be a great contrast. I have to admit I'm not sure I want the cultural baggage of driving a white bronco though. Yea it's played out but you know people will bother you endlessly about it.

Always wondered by they never built a production Bronco off the 2004 concept. Usually when a co brings a realistic concept like that out they're at least considering building it, unless public reception isn't good, which seems to be the case with the 04 concept. So if Ford learned any lesson...

I know lots of people probably want the Bronco to be sized like a 2-door wrangler but I think it'll be be bigger. Bronco will be based on the global Ranger platform which is sized like an F-150 from late 90's / early 2000's so it won't be a small car. So it's something like between a Wrangler...

Never saw that many similarities until you put it side by side like that.. especially those squared off wheel fenders. Hope they make the Bronco a truly unique design like the 04 concept and not just a mishmash of existing Ford truck and SUVs.

So this wasn't actually OJ's Bronco, but the one that belonged to Al Cowling? In the new FX mini-series they said that there were actually two white Broncos -- OJ's which was impounded by LAPD and Al Cowling's Bronco which was used for the freeway chase.

SUV sales may be on fire but nearly every SUV available is just based on regular car platforms (i.e. not truly off-road capable). Only the Jeeps and Range Rover are tough truck based SUVs. Previous ones like the FJ Cruiser and Nissan Xterra didn't sell well and were killed off not too long ago...
