Jamie,
The "leak" as I was calling it, has slowed to almost nothing now. I still am religious about jumping under it and inspecting every seal and I've kept my eye particularly close on this area. As skeptical as I was at first, I think it indeed was assembly lube.
I have been driving my...
My rear main is seeping just a tablespoon over a month. In true Ford fashion, the tech just says, "It'll clear up sometime". Owned Toyotas the last 14 years and the first Ford since '93. The lack of overall quality control and Ford's "stick head in the sand on an obvious issue" just drives me nuts.
Just seeing this. I like the locking plug idea. Why? Well...
I was in Colorado a few years ago for a camping trip in my '20 Tundra. Vehicle was left at a trailhead for a day. Get back into town and need to get some gas and a wadded up plastic Coke bottle was left behind the filler door. I had...
The oil at the seepage isn't foamy at all. Since I am having the oil changed tomorrow, I may ask them to add a dye to it so I can try to determine the culprit with a black light.
I know the subject of the correct or incorrect dipstick and factory oil levels have been discussed a ton, but I have a question I couldn’t find anyone talked about yet.
So, I posted a few weeks ago after I got my ‘23 BD (2.7) that I had found a leak basically between the block and the...
The Ford bot will be here soon to act like they care....
Seriously though, have they checked the usual suspects? Loose fusebox or battery terminal bolts, battery health, ecm, etc? Hate that this is happening to you.
us 8" screen folks are a special breed, lol. tbh, I didn't want a 12" screen and all the other ancillary components that came with it. I listen to the road, the engine, and have the window down most of the time anyway.
my 8" screen sometimes has the Bronco simulation, sometimes it doesn't.... guess it just depends on the mood it's in at the time.... us bums with the 8" screen are screwed since I bet they stop any updates on them in the near future. oh well...
Yup, my 8/23 will do the window drop with the remote, then if you don't get in, it will close in a few minutes. I believe it's even less than 5 minutes. Maybe 2?
