Just when I thought I was out, they PULL ME BACK IN.
I had given up on getting a Bronco. Then I gave up on getting an Gen3 F150 Raptor. Then I gave up on getting a Lightning. I have no idea if I can or will get a Bronco Raptor, but Iāll be paying close attention to it. I kinda doubt I can get...
Good choice on the wildpeaks. I had those on my last Jeep. Very solid on and off road performance. The on road snow performance is what really got me. Itās very impressive. I now have Wildpeak MTs on my Jeep.
As for waiting on a Bronco, Iāve given up. Maybe Iāll change my mind when the...
Wow, $3500. Thatās not even a Zeon Platinum winch?
IMO, thatās a crap design. Of course itās required because the modular bumperās design is so poorly thought out. Jeepās steel bumper lets you hide most of the winch behind the bumper. You just need a relatively simple mount plate to get the...
Itās not a bad deal IMO. You get tires, beadlock capable wheels, and a regear to go with the very minor lift. A regear of both axles would have cost $2K in parts alone. But itās only a 1.5ā lift.
Jeep didnāt offer it on the Sahara or Sport, but I think thatās because those two models only have...
They've been a member since May but have only posted 3 times. We shall see how committed they are to PR on the forums.
I think it's worth mentioning that "Jeep Cares" on the JL Wrangler forum is very active. Though they are not very helpful at times.
I have to agree with the others. A white top and perhaps white fender flairs will make this look GREAT. However, just a white grille on its own isn't that appealing to me.
It could also use a white stripe, of some kind, down the side.
Damnā¦ I wish nothing bad on any of yāall but now Iām glad I decided to wait. That is jacked up.
Iāve been cutting Ford slack on the production delays but this botched launch is getting more botched by the day. Ford screwed up big time. Sourcing from Webasto is looking more and more like an epic...
Ya know, I drove a P300. While is certainly wasnāt going like a bat out of hell, it was better than acceptable power. Plus, I can get it with the white steelies, which look oh soooo awesome. Also, those wheels are 18ā instead of the 19 or 20ā wheels on the P400. So a lot more tire for real off...
So I test drive a new Defender today. It was a well equipped S trim. Itās an excellent family vehicle with some decent off road ability.
As Richard Hammond has said, itās an outstanding Discovery. I may actually buy one as a family car, but Iām under no illusions, this is no Defender.
I donāt even want to think about it.
Itās looking less and less likely Iāll ever own a Bronco. Iām betting the Ranger Raptor will be out long before. Iām currently planning to buy a new vehicle next spring/summer. At this point Iām guessing itāll be some sort of pickup. Either the F150...
Yea. He's up here with me near Boulder. We can get 100F+ temps, but the humidity is usually below 20%.
I'm originally from Louisiana, these Boulder folk can't handle real heat.. hahaha...
Anyways, if I get a Bronco, it's going to be a 4dr Base or 4dr Badlands. I'd get the Sasquatch package...
