If it was easily fixed, doesn't explain why dealer can't fix it.
I agree on the stamps, but its still what I would want to see, the cheap ass plastic really takes away from the vehicles.
Replacement seals for MIC hard top that actually seal the top.
Re-worked subwoofer compartment that doesn't rattle at 30% volume.
Replacement removable steel fender flares to replace the cheap ass plastic.
Perhaps some of these things may exist, but I've yet to find them.
I've seen so many different 'fixes' for the wind noise, not really sure what to trust or where to start, but for the price point Ford should be addressing these problems.
I also upgraded several of the plastic pieces with aftermarket aluminum and leather trims. To your point the cost to do so...
Exactly this.
Its kind of a turd for the price point. There are other capable 4x4 off road capable vehicles at this price point that do offer far better luxury features, and you could actually have a phone call in them driving down the freeway.
I'm extremely disappointed in the build quality...
If your state requires front license plate, get an aftermarket one and instruct the dealer repeatedly to not install the factory one. Unless you like holes drilled thru your paint.
Thanks, I think the rattle we're experiencing is around trim rubbing and not the fender. Dynomat makes sense for fender rattle.
I'll for sure be watching for customer feedback. I hate to need to pay for another sub when I paid extra for B&O sound system, but unfortunately Ford's design is...
