My 15 JKUR has been a great vehicle. 100k trouble free miles. I don’t wheel it often, but when I do it gets worked hard. IMHO, the 3.6 is a great motor. All that said, I’m looking forward to my Bronco.

I was deliberating between a JLUR and a Badlands Bronco, and also went with the Bronco. My usage is similar to yours; camping, off-roading, hunting, etc.... And based on your screen name, probably in the same areas of the eastern Sierras that you frequent. I’ve owned two Jeeps; a 2005 LJ and...
I’ll own my Bronco until it begins to fail on me mechanically or the interior becomes too ratty to enjoy. I’ve owned several vehicles well past 100k miles. With good care, 100k is easy in terms of engine, drivetrain, tranny, etc....... What typically causes me to get rid of a vehicle is that...
Finalized my build and placed my order with dealer yesterday. MSRP and a refundable $1,000 deposit. This dealer has about 200 reservations and I was the 7th to actually place and order with them. My reservation was made in early July 2020.
Pretty unpleasant experience overall. The...
I’ve owned two Jeeps, an 05 LJ and a 2015 JKUR. Both have been excellent and given me zero trouble. The JKUR is my DD and still runs great at 100k miles.
I’m going with a Bronco next because I just don’t trust the JL. Even after filtering for Internet forum static, the JL has been plagued...
The Bronco lineup offers a LOTof consumer choice and comparable models are priced competitively versus the JLUR. Aside from the minority that keep harping about no 2.7l with a manual, what they are offering should address the full spectrum of consumer wants/needs. Ford has been listening, but...
That is why my JKUR will likely be my last Jeep. Having also owned an LJ, I get that Jeeps have some unique driving characteristics. But many of the JL owners complaining have also owned other Jeep models and are still very disappointed with not being able to resolve their JL steering...
Very helpful thread. I’m going BL without Sasquatch package. 33s are plenty for my off-road needs. Will also get the 2.7 motor because it has performed very well in our F-150.

I know that I’ll need a new car in 2021 so waiting would require some kind of interim plan and I’d rather not hassle with that. Even with Ford’s planned timeline, I might run into problems.
I’ve never seen any empirical evidence supporting the claim that first-year models have more...
My 2015 JKUR has been flawless for 90k, but I don’t have enough confidence in the JL to buy one. Too many long-time Jeep owners report serious problems with steering and road stability, and FCA seems to be in denial.
The Bronco seems to be an outstanding overall package and an excellent fit...
