I'd have to check the date, but it was no more recent than last summer.
My reservation ID is an ancient one from the first day or two of the reservation system (and, as such, became a golden ticket reservation).
Honestly, I'm over it. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't see Raptors eating dust in...
I thought so, too.
But that's not what the Ford reservation system says when I check it online. (I also got the email from Ford saying it'll be canceled.)
I emailed my dealer just now. Waiting for a response.
What's the point? No one's getting any Bronco Raptors anyway. Dealers are just buying them for inventory to slap 50k ADMs on them and let them sit and eat dust (not the good dust from the trails, mind you).
Strangely, I have two reservations (one consumed, not built yet; one not yet consumed). They only emailed me about the one that wasn't yet consumed.
So, if you have an order in, and still got an email featuring that reservation ID, might be worthwhile to look into it.
I sure did.
Was holding out on my extra reservation in hopes I could convert it into something cool (like a Raptor), but that seems to be out of the question.
Exactly. I'll wait my turn, even if it's years.
Also, F-150 Raptors started accumulating ADMs because they became susceptible to people buying them just to flip them. Dealers want in on that.
I am morally opposed to ADMs.
There's definitely an issue with flippers, but there's a more severe issue: dealers charging ADMs.
In order for ADMs to go away, flippers must go away. In order for flippers to go away, ADMs must go away.
@Zach@Granger, you continue to impress with the way you run your stores. Please don't ever stop being awesome!
Thank you so much for the level of transparency, and the level of support for the community here.
I love the Raptor. Always have.
But, there are enough awesome trucks out there (including the TRX) that you can get with no ADM that it's foolish to waste money on an ADM.
That's a great question. I have one that's been converted into a Raptor (still waiting on the build), and one that's just sitting there waiting for me to take action on it. Both seem to be assigned to a dealer, and both say the same thing "build in progress with dealer" so it doesn't look like I...
