I went through this a few months ago. First thing to think about…do you want off-road or street legal lights? Big difference. Make sure you understand what is street legal for your state, if that is what you are going for.
Do you want Fogs? Floods? Spots? Different lights for different use...
Is this common on Bronco, or do I need to get my headlights aimed?
Almost every time I drive at night I get high beam flashed by an on-coming driver. Seemingly trying to tell me my high-beams are on. They never are. I do have my high-beams on auto, but this happens even when driving down busy...
I have had my Bronco ~3 months. It lives in a garage. Only about 1000 miles. I used my wipers in steady rain for the first time last night & the blades are skipping across the windshield. 'swoosh' in one direction, 'bap-bap-bap-bap-bap' in the other direction. Is there an easy fix, or do I...
I had the inside of my swing gate lined with PPF. I would post a picture, but I don’t think you would see anything. :)
I was worried about the interior paint getting chewed up by luggage, pets, gear, tools, etc. hopefully this helps. Very happy with the PPF guy I found in Georgia (Atlanta...

Installed SAE Fog lights (white) and Yellow fog lights in my modular bumper. I wired each color to a separate uplifter switch so I could be street legal. I used the DV8 bracket.
Thanks! Confirmed my suspicions. Got the install done.
I used Lasfit Fog beams in yellow and white, wired to two uplifters (one for each color). I used the DV8 bracket.
this pictures shows all the endpoints on the harness I received with my fog lights. On the far left are the ends that plug into the light pods. Each has a red and black wire that runs through conduit to the black relay box next to them. Extending from the relay box are the black and red wires...
You can have more lights for off-road, but if you want to use fog lights on the road, then you need to understand the state laws. Of course, I doubt many cops would pull someone over for their lights unless they weren’t aimed properly. But, the OP asked about “street legal”, so I answered with...
For people wanting street legal fogs… most states only allow one light on each side for fog lights. So on these multi-light kits you have to figure out how to wire them for that capability. Also, make sure the light pods really project a fog light pattern. Many I looked into had a flood...
I did a similar project while I had panels out to install a sub. I went cheap with Amazon brand, though (still butyl rubber). Only $30 in materials. I did not test sound levels before and after. Easy install, and seems to help some.
I don’t trust a lowest-bid car sensor with my life, anyway. I always watch mirrors, and look over my shoulder before lane changes. The blind spot monitor is a backup system to my eyes. In that capacity, it works fine for me.
The law in my state is that you can only have two fog lights (one per side) illuminated on the roads. Can these be wired to accomplish that? So, perhaps wiring one white light per side to an uplifter switch, and one amber light per side to a second uplifter? What would be required to make...
Best would have been to fly one way to PA and drive Bronco home. But, sounds like you are already there. Park the fusion at a big mall in PA. Drive the Bronco home. Get a cheap one way ticket back to PA in a week or two and drive the fusion back.
When I was a kid in 70s and 80s, my dad always had a Bronco or Blazer for hauling boats & utility usage. Loved them, but didn’t appreciate them as much as I should have (I was young). FF to adulthood… I have had a company car for 25 years. It was hard to justify paying for a second car when...
