  1. Consumer Reports 2020 Reliability Ratings - New Ford Vehicles Perform Poorly

Why are you mad at me because I owned a Ford that had reliability issues?
  2. Consumer Reports 2020 Reliability Ratings - New Ford Vehicles Perform Poorly

I don’t know about the pilot thing, but my Edge had engine, transmission, heated seat failure, leaky sunroof, and sync issues.
  3. Consumer Reports 2020 Reliability Ratings - New Ford Vehicles Perform Poorly

I’ll be honest. I’m really nervous about that already. I’ve owned one Ford (2016 Edge) and it was a nightmare. We traded it for a Honda Passport which has been flawless. I decided that it’s worth the risk because it’s so cool!
  4. Manual Crawler Gear

Thank you. I hadn’t thought about being able to stay off the clutch more. I’ve had both a ZR2 S10 and Frontier in manual and that’s one of the more difficult things when crawling (which as you can see I haven’t done very often).
  5. Are the trim / model badges stickers or badges?

That video was fascinating. I honestly think I would enjoy being on that assembly line. Maybe it would get old.
  6. Manual Crawler Gear

Hey all, I’ve never driven a car with a crawler gear. Since we manual tranny guys will be giving up on a few features made for going slow (one pedal drive and trail control), can you tell me how this will work? I have in my mind that it will crawl at idle and not require much throttle input...
  7. Guys...I "bleed blue" as much as anybody but 2021 bronco is not a serious wrangler competitor!

I don’t bleed blue at all. In fact my only other Ford I had made me vow that would never buy another one. The eco-boost was a disaster. So I agree with you that I wish It had a naturally aspirated motor. Other than that the rest of those things don’t bother me.
  8. HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) System

So if the suspension is the same and the only difference is the tire size, Isn’t there about an inch difference in ground clearance between the 35 inch MTs in the 33 inch ATs?
  9. Badlands Bronco Thread

2 Dr Badlands manual tranny. If ford changes their mind I’ll get the 2.7 but if they don’t, 2.3 it is. probably lux package because I want to spoil myself after always telling myself that someday I would (but never have). Then I wonder about clear wrapping the car so I don’t have Rocky Mountain...
  10. 2.3L reliability

Personally I am worried but going to buy anyway. Hoping they have worked out a few kinks.
  11. HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) System

I like this. I am assuming that ground clearance from badlands Sasquatch to badlands without Sasquatch will go from 11.6 to around 10.0? I wouldn’t want much less than that for my purposes.
  12. 2.3L Manual or 2.7L Auto

I’m on The other side of the Rockies in Utah. I’ve taken my Ram truck up some places in the high Uinta lakes that I had to stop and walk the last mile. Loose rock and tight turns. I’m sure however that a 2 door badlands with 33’s would make it.
  13. 2.3L Manual or 2.7L Auto

It would be amazing if it could have the 5.0 coyote but that’s probably overkill. I wish Ford had a v6 like the one Chevy uses in the camaro and blazer. I hadn’t thought about leasing. I am pretty settled on the 2 door and for sure want the manual. here is my list of cars trucks over my...
  14. 2.3L Manual or 2.7L Auto

And I love the fact they are making a 2-door and a manual in the first place. That was purely for the enthusiasts.
  15. 2.3L Manual or 2.7L Auto

this is my plan too. I was disappointed about no Sasquatch with manual at first but I think for a daily driving car, the 33 ATs are better anyway. There aren’t too many places you can’t go with the non Sasquatch badlands. My problem is with both the 2.3 and 2.7. I don’t want an ecoboost. My last...
  16. Marine grade vinyl

Wetsuits are made from neoprene. That’s not what they are talking about. I have seen aftermarket neoprene seat covers though that you could put on over your vinyl if you want to.
  17. Extended Warranty

I think it might be a good idea but they usually don’t cover the whole car and they also have deductibles. I’ve only owned one Ford. It was a 2016 Edge and had nothing but problems. Water leaked in when it rained, cooled seats stopped working, engine misfires and constant check engine lights...
