Yes, but even if someone didn't have those things, how could a dealer sell a car that you ordered and have given them a deposit to hold the vehicle? I mean, I guess a dealer can do anything they want but I would imagine there are some legal ramifications for them doing that.
I have a question about dealers just selling someone's order. Did these people actually have a deposit on the Bronco? When I changed my reservation to an order, I had to put down $1K for the order. I don't have a problem with my dealer but if you have a deposit down can a dealer just sell it...
I would be really surprised if they put an old MIC top on a Bronco that is being produced this upcoming week. I would be willing to bet that his Bronco is going to have the new MIC top on it. But who knows, Ford has been doing a lot of things that defy logic when having an outside...
There is a local used car dealer by me in Illinois that already had a 4 Door First Edition listed for $99,800 and it is already sold. They now have a Badlands Edition listed for $89,800.
Yeah, that picture definitely makes me feel better. I was a little mad at first but in all honesty, I was slightly relieved as well because I wasn't looking forward to the swirl marks that come with a gloss black paint job.
I put my order in through Hawk Ford. I didn't get a lot of communication from them during the time period from when I made my reservation to when the ordering banks opened up but since then it has been fine. I also have a First Edition order so maybe that has something to do with him reaching...
Chris called me back. I asked him about x-pricing and he said that he couldn't do that. He said that they are only charging reservation holders MSRP. He assured me that there would be no additional markups.
They are asking for a $1000 refundable deposit.
I have tried calling them twice today. I guess Chris is the one that works with the Bronco orders. He wasn't available both times and they took down my info. Haven't heard back from him yet.
I sure do hope this isn't their stance. I have my reservation there and will be moving it to somewhere else if they plan on adding dealer markups. I am going to give them a call tomorrow. I grew up in Carol Stream so I know exactly where Joe Cotton is, so if they are not going to charge a...
For those of you who ordered through Granger, do you know whether you are getting a 21 or 22 model year allocation? From what I am reading even Granger is going to be hit with this allocation issue.
I am reserved with Hawk as well. Haven't heard from them though since they called me a couple of days after I reserved on reveal day.
The sports seem to be popping up everywhere at the dealers in our general vicinity. Haggerty still has the Area 51 and a black one. Hawk has a couple and so...
When I was flat towing my Wrangler the process was to put the transfer case in neutral and then put the transmission back in park. Which made it so that the transmission wasn't doing anything. Is that not the case with the Bronco?
If you want to see what Area 51 looks like in person they have one at Haggerty Ford in West Chicago. 330 E Roosevelt Rd, West Chicago, IL 60185
I went to go take a look at it this weekend because that is the color I am leaning towards for my Bronco. It's definitely darker in person. Close...
Now that the Wildtrak and First Edition don't have the painted top, it doesn't make much sense to me that they would have the painted side view mirrors.
