This is 100% correct. The dealer would HAVE to take the upfront loss and wait for the rebate. My ppl were very skittish about the rebate and didn't want to hold the loss, which I assume most of these dealerships would prefer to do.
Sorry to revive this thread, but I actually did end up getting a rebate. I had to buy the truck at current MSRP (and pay taxes on it :( ), but after 3 or 4 months I got a check in the mail for the difference, which was ~$10K.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Raptors!
I was told the process was a rebate, which is something I had heard when calling in, so that is awesome you got to pay the lower price upfront.
The truck is pretty awesome so far, but now i need to figure out how to free up space for it.
Sales guy told me no multiple times. Said he listened to a call with their Ford Dealer Network and the person said I’m NOT eligible. Showed me a picture with vague language saying the Raptor is NOT eligible for price lock (I read what he showed me and said my interpretation was specific Raptor...
Hi all! I got to the table and my dealer is saying I don’t qualify for price lock.
I was a part of the golden ticket program and my order got bumped from 2022 to 2023.
Placed my order sept 2022 for the 2023 year.
anyone have any insights other than the sales rep telling me no? I really don’t...
Has anyone seen one of these for the Bronco Raptor? Apparently Raptors are test driven at the factor and reviewed for any issues. They'll create a report and denote any issues and things that need to be fixed (missing trim, paint defects, systems not working, items not torqued, etc.)
Was...
I don't think it is possible if you didn't leverage a special program or an original order. Since the dealer said this is their stock, it might as well be on the showroom floor.
I have a verified 'raptor' but can't register for the off rodeo. I am guessing because my car has been stuck 'in production and not delivered I'm not eligible yet :(.
I was scheduled around the same time, but my vehicle has all those options. My date has been 5/15 but has not changed. The dealer offered to schedule me earlier, but I wouldn’t remove options.
Ford needs to get it together with communications.
On the Ford.com website I see "Scheduled for Production week of 5/15" and has shown that since early this year.
I am guessing whatever will be produced was allocated AND scheduled long ago. Maybe even overflow units.
EDIT: is anything built this week or are they just scheduling for the future?
I think that is what causes ppl to ask questions. In one thread they say sticker price is king, in another ppl say the Ford.com price is achievable through back-end rebates between the dealer and Ford, only available for GT holders.
I believe there is a manual component where your dealer selects which raptor order to build. In that case they can manually order a raptor for a client who has agreed to pay ADM ahead of yours (or so I assume).
i placed my 23MY order in 22 when order banks first opened. My dealer called...
@RagnarKon - does having a 'golden ticket' Raptor allocation change anything? My ford website is showing old pricing still. My raptor order was placed 9/22 but built 5/23.
