  1. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

This will not be well accepted - rock chips are due to tailgating. My son drives a sedan with a very laid-back windshield and he gets tons of rock chips because he tailgates. I’ve never had a rock chip in 40 years of driving and that has nothing to do with my windshield.
  2. 📸 2025 4Runner Leaked: New Competition Revealed

    I assume it’s only available in a four-door?
  3. What a WEAPON (2024 Bronco Raptor)!!

Removing those hideous fenders is the best thing you could do anyway.
  4. MPG-what am I doing wrong?

If your new tires are significantly heavier, that will also drop your mileage noticeably. Any unsprung weight kills performance. If they’re not heavier and they are basically the same diameter then it’s just driving style. To get good mileage you need to stay at or below the speed limit, Feather...
  5. Bronco Cheat Codes List

So you’re cranking over a cold engine without starting it?
  6. Roll Bar Threaded Hole Uses

Oh, so you remove the top and then install the accessories and then reinstall the top?
  7. Bronco extended trailer tongue extension question

That’s way too much leverage on your Bronco hitch. Is there a weight distributing hitch you can use? Or remove the spare when towing?
  8. 2 Door Hardtop Cart

I received the cart for my two door because they said that it would work with the two door but it did not. It’s good quality and easy to assemble but the front two brackets on the clam shell fell right on top of the bars and pads, so it wouldn’t sit in there properly. I assume it would work fine...
  9. Jeep offered SAS???

That doesn’t look like it would even give a Bronco Sport any competition.
  10. Roll Bar Threaded Hole Uses

Any cool uses for the holes pictured? I just noticed them when I had my top off and realized the same screws that hold the top down also fit right into those holes. I didn’t know if there is anything that they could be used for that might be handy when the top is off. It’s a two door if that...
  11. 2023 Bronco DR for sale $500K USD 🤯

The reason I know they’re slower than the 2.7 is my sons both have the coyote in their F150s but they both sound fantastic. However, they can’t touch the performance of my F150 with a 2.7, especially when towing. Maybe they just got lucky with their exhaust system.
  12. 2023 Bronco DR for sale $500K USD 🤯

I didn’t think it was possible to make a two-door hideous, but they’ve succeeded. Plus, they use the slower, naturally aspirated coyote V8 in it. Nothing about that vehicle makes sense. At least the exhaust will sound good.
  13. 2023 Bronco Badlands 2 door Sasquatch 2.7 auto pulling another vehicle out

If your traction is not an issue, just put it in 4 low and ease it out. If traction for you is an issue, you need as little power as possible so I would use 4 high and try not to break your tires loose. If it’s muddy, you will need tire spin, so in that case, I would probably use 4 low to keep...
  14. Has anyone had to replace their brake pads yet?

Depends on the driver. I get 200,000 easily but if you’re on the brakes too much I could see them not lasting even 50,000. The longer your brakes last the better fuel mileage you’ll get too.
  15. Anyone tried to make the tailgate 'traditional?'

It could be just like the older Broncos. The spare tire was mounted on a swing arm, so you would swing it out-of-the-way before you opened the independent tailgate.
  16. Top Gear drives the Bronco DR

You’re welcome to go for a ride with us if the data provided above isn’t convincing enough. I also have a late model Mustang GT that is fun but feels sluggish compared to my 2.7 Bronco and 2.7 F-150. The Coyote has no low rpm grunt so unless it’s rapped out tight, it is relatively slow.
  17. Top Gear drives the Bronco DR

We have all three engines in F-150’s and the coyote sounds better but either Ecoboost outperforms it in every performance category, especially when towing. The numbers shown below are for similarly set up crew cab 4X4 F-150’s.
  18. Engine rust-what could cause this?

My boat engine never gets wet so that makes sense. The lower unit gets wet but it is made to regularly get wet. I assume that Bronco, like many Broncos, wasn’t treated very well by the previous owner.
  19. Engine rust-what could cause this?

Water, raw metal, + air = rust
  20. Top Gear drives the Bronco DR

My understanding is that they put the coyote in these but it was naturally aspirated. Why would they do that? Maybe I’m mistaken. We have F150s with the 5.0 and the 2.7 in them and the 2.7 absolutely roasts the coyote equipped trucks. My son finally put a supercharger on his coyote in his F150...
