Anyone receive their rebate check or wireless controller rebate yet? Mine have both been approved for 6-7 weeks and I got a wired remote in the mail about a week ago.
From the pictures posted it looks considerably thicker than the factory liner. The front panels are already tight in the carry bag so I think it's a valid question.
Have not replaced yet but have had a crack clear across for about a year and 12000 miles now. Been there so long I don't notice it anymore. Been putting off replacing because the windshield is tinted. I figure if I am going to have to pay to re-tint every time it cracks ill just leave it...
Installed mine on my first oil change and have changed it once with it since. Very glad I did. The tidal wave of oil that came out of the factory drain outflowed my drain pan and I ended up with a lake of oil on the garage floor. Using a drain tube with the Ronin plug was a much cleaner solution.
No suggestions on service, plan on doing mine myself. But I also purchased from Chuck Anderson. Extremely smooth transaction. Looking forward to replies though.
Just had the wife order one for my son whos 1st birthday is in July. Didn't notice until after we had bought it that it doesn't have remote control. Now I'm looking into remote control conversions. I could see this snowballing really quick.
Also told the dealer not to install one. I don't run a plate on the front of my xj or mustang and have gotten a ticket once in 15 years of driving like that. The one time I was a 17 year old kid in a loud car which I believe had something to do with it.
I asked them not to touch it before I picked it up other than removing the plastic wrap. I ceramic coated mine in the first week and wanted swirls minimized for application.
@First BaseMan Small world. I can't say enough about everyone at Chuck Anderson. We were in and out in less than two hours including the test drive and looking it over. As my wife and I were leaving we both commented it felt too easy and that we must a have forgot something. There's a good...
@RussellTBroncoI've got a white f350 and the wife's current fusion is white so we wanted to change it up a little bit. Although it does match my xj pretty closely. It will be there till Friday around noon if everything goes as planned.
Picking up the wife's new ride Friday. Driving up to Chuck Anderson Ford from StL.
Badlands, Lux, Sasquatch, 2.7/10sp with washout floors. Trading in our 2016 Fusion Titanium on it.
We had already had a trip to KC planned for several weeks prior to see some friends which seemed to work out...
Moonlight offroad in Sullivan, Vandyz offroad in Fulton, Pruit Mountain in Caledonia, Flat Nasty in Jadwin.
Moonlight has everything from mild to wild in a pretty good sized park and is the closest to Stl out of the 4.
Vandyz is pretty small but enough for a day of fun and the owner is the...
