I was hoping that enough people (like me) bitched and moaned enough that they'd cave in and offer this interior; The manual trans + squatch crowd made it happen, why not us!?
I use the FN Countersteer Type X on my Tacoma - a great alternative to the Volk TE37X. they're only 18 lbs each and about 1/4 of the price. I plan on using these on the Bronco if compatible; probably need a hub ring. Big fan of lightweight wheels.
Amen. I've already put away $4K to do a custom interior swap to match this exact build if they wont give it to us. seats, dash, roll bars, tie downs, everything. it's happening one way or the other!
My interpretation is that "most retro" doesn't mean "closest to factory colors of the 70's" but rather a vibe or feel you get when you see it. no doubt any of them with a white top gives it instant retro vibes. Something about that Cactus Grey with a white top makes me want to drive on the coast...
I'm familiar with your predicament. I went with the "inferno" orange color on my Tacoma and had major regret after I ordered it while I was waiting for it to arrive. "WHAT HAVE I DONE"!? was all I could think about. Now I get compliments on it literally every single day I drive it. I think they...
Awesome work, @BroAD thank you. Like many on here I have my eye on white hard top and grille options (and white/grey interior options for that matter). Ultimately seeing how much aftermarket money to bank!
This is 100% accurate. NEVER lock your doors with a soft top. I did this one time and one time only at the Memphis airport in my '99 Wrangler TJ and I returned to a knifed up top; every window.
same here but i went with black badges and a flag decal on the bed. did it in the dealership parking lot - along with the custom front grille. I didn't want to be seen with silver decals and grille!
Most interested in the questions regarding the availability of a white top. White top all models? white top on select packages? no white top? I cannot imagine a world with a Ford Bronco with no white top option but it's 2020 and nothing surprises me anymore! (I want that launch tease grey/white...
my reservation is with Billy Howell Ford but I will 100% be changing that to a non-ADM dealership. I have never been impressed with their service with my wife's Explorer anyway.
These FN/Konig Countersteer Type X are on my Taco and they're easily my favorite wheels I've owned. I'm big on lightweight wheels and tires (when possible, anyway) so These 18 lb. beauties were the perfect solution for me. It will be hard for me to use another wheel on my Bronco.
Guilty here on being flustered about the white top; can't lie. Definitely hoping you are right and that we will be able to put a quality, durable white spray on it with little issue. The thing about the molded white color is you can be rougher with it when we take them on and off a thousand times.
