No mention of all models receiving the newer squared off fenders for exterior changes. Was really hoping that would not be limited to heritage and everglades.
Sounds like when he knocked on the dash, that it is in fact a hard plastic instead of soft touch. Along with all the surrounding material. Guess the interior wonāt be much of a change from my current ā06 F150 haha.
Going off the obx fishing guide, there are a few overhead photos were you can see that interior. Also, in one of the older postings of them lined up, you can see from the passenger view that door trim is the same. Sorry I donāt have the shots off hand.
edit: Another post has a photo of it...
I have a 2006 FX4 F150 that Iām hoping lasts till next year. Already did the usual 5.4L repairs. Injectors, Cam Phaser, Plugs, etc at 100k. Around 160k now. Probably needs the lifters changed now, but Iām done dumping money into it. Not worth anything now anyway.
I suppose it would depend on usage and cost. Considering it will likely cost more than the first edition. Also, it hasnāt been confirmed whether it will be tooled for extreme crawling, or desert running like the Raptor. You might be able to get similar enough performance, without the wait.
Personally no. However, I do think it would be great for the market as a whole in terms of more competition, and available options. FJs are great in their own right.
Hey all! I ended up reserving the Wildtrak because I had already planned on picking up a loaded model. Since the FE didnāt come in Race red, this was the next best. I plan on primarily using it for finding trails, and desert running in SoCal. My only concern is not having the sway bar...
