  1. What will Ford do about V8 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392?

Ford will happily cede those sales to Jeep and focus their attention elsewhere.
  2. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

From what I can tell, the operation of the rear seats will allow so much space when folded down that thereā€™ll be no point to attempting to remove them. Infinitely superior to the rear seat operation of the 2-door Wrangler. That, along with the extra space behind the rear seats compared to what I...
  3. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

My thoughts exactly. I was originally fully planning on a 4-door but having seen the photo of the rear seat area of the 2-door, Iā€™m leaning 2-door now.
  4. Perfectly Content?

Are there things Iā€™d want to do a la carte that wonā€™t be available? Sure. But Iā€™m certain that Iā€™ll be able to build out a model that will be just fine for my needs and wants. No worries.
  5. Built in the USA-How important is it for you?

Iā€™m AFL-CIO and prefer to own vehicles built by AFL-CIO labor, and always have, but I also understand the global nature of commerce and wouldnā€™t disqualify foreign-built automobiles. Iā€™ve always owned American-made (usually locally made :)) vehicles though and it appears Iā€™ll continue to do so.
  6. Ohio Roll Call

Northwest of Toledo (Sylvania Township). No reservation but planning an early 2022 model, undecided type but leaning 2-door Black Diamond.
  7. How will your Broncos get used?

No, 17 years FAA ATC via Purdue University.
  8. How will your Broncos get used?

Iā€™ve done it at work (TOL airport tower) already. :ROFLMAO: My coworkers appreciate it. Did get some strange looks in the Rite-Aid the other day though.
  9. How will your Broncos get used?

Only vehicle, so itā€™s intended use will be to put a smile on my face whenever I drive, be it open air in the summer or competently handling anything winter can bring. Much like my 08 Wrangler was but better in all aspects.
  10. POSSIBLE Allowable and Excluded Options per Trim Level

This is almost certainly like this from Bestop: https://www.bestop.com/sunrider/ I think Iā€™d rather just deal with the panels, personally. Great to have options though!
  11. Rare Hands On Review of 2021 Bronco From Reveal Event w/ Cactus Gray White Top Pics!

The black painted are optional on Outer Banks and Badlands as well. Iā€™m currently looking at either a Black Diamond or a Badlands but am also likely going to get an early 2022 model, so who knows what will be available then.
  12. Rare Hands On Review of 2021 Bronco From Reveal Event w/ Cactus Gray White Top Pics!

Not a fan of what appears to be the ā€œmolded in color Carbonized Grayā€ hard top on that 2-door. Way too light compared to the the fender flares, door handles, and window surrounds. If thatā€™s not corrected on production models, Iā€™ll have to go with a body color top.
  13. First Look at Soft Top in Half Open Position on 2021 Bronco (4 Door)

Iā€™ll be watching these developments with great interest... ? Re the video, I would not read too much into it. The top was likely not folded back correctly, and could very well still be in prototype form.
  14. What’s everyone’s take on the Bronco Sport

Itā€™s just fine. Itā€™ll provide great competition for the Compass and Subarus. Totally different market than the 2-dr/4-dr Bronco and thatā€™s fine.
  15. So who thinks 2 door Bronco sales will be a bigger percentage than 2 door Wrangler sales?

I think thereā€™s a good chance it will both initially and into the future. Thereā€™s a relatively significant amount of additional space behind the back seat than a 2-door Wrangler, and the back seat folds out of the way in a far more useful way. I had an 08 Wrangler 2-door and wound up getting...
  16. Whats your hobbies!

    Aviation photography and astronomy.
  17. What do all of us future Bronco owners do for a living?

    Air Traffic Controller.
  18. 'IDEAL' BUILD?

Black Diamond (need measurements before deciding 2 or 4 dr) 2.3/10-speed mid package plus 12ā€ screen and heated steering wheel dual tops 33s off the base Badlands
  19. Thoughts on waiting for a 2022 Bronco

I figure with the ā€˜21s available in April at the earliest, ā€˜21 will be a short model year. Since Iā€™ll be ready around the first of the year ā€˜22, Iā€™ll wait and see how it goes with the early adopters, figure out exactly what I want, and order a 2022 in fall ā€˜21 for delivery probably in early ā€˜22.
  20. Will the 2 door rear seats be removable?

This photo from the Ford website leads me to believe they fold flat. Look at the headrests - they fold back so theyā€™d lie face first against the back of the front seats.
