+1 would like to see that too. Remember the plan was to build it off the 04 concept but they scrapped that. I hope they don't reinvent the wheel and just work off of that concept and slightly more modern. That would do it for me.

A lot of this will depend on the make up of the next Ranger. I doubt the Bronco will get a lot of aluminum if the Ranger doesn't. In fact I'd expect the Ranger to get most of the good stuff with some trickle down later in the Bronco's life.

That is surprisingly light. What chassis was it built on at the time do you know? Also anyone know how many pounds were shaved off the F150 by going aluminum body?

Maybe I am misunderstanding you but is there any data to show what your saying is true, that the preference is now back to smaller? The larger wheelbase 4 door Unlimiteds have been outselling the smaller Wrangler's by a large clip pretty much since the first JK model 2007. Even back then this...

IMO Ford is not thinking about anything but going after the highest seller JEEP. They nixed the Bronco plans after the 2004 concept and Ford decided to build the newer Escape instead, a larger more practical SUV. Now that Ford's SUV line up is stronger and more diversified there could be room...

I doubt Ford will bring the Everest here. The next gen Explorer will be RWD/AWD so bringing the Everest will very much go after similar buyers. I'd actually welcome the Everest but if it did happen it would be well after the 2020 Bronco, in my opinion.

It really depends whether they would have different wheelbases which I highly doubt for the Bronco, at least from the outset. The two or four door debate is as old as time in the Jeep community but mostly because of the different wheelbases. Some say the 4 door is longer so it will let you climb...
