There are 2 reasons why I drive my Bronco slower than any other car I have owned:
I noticed I can't really "feel the speed" I'm driving at in my Bronco, compared to previous cars. Several times I caught myself driving faster than I felt. I felt I was going 80 but I was actually going 100. So...
Thanks for all the help, finally found the issue was the positive terminal and had it replaced.
The Bronco died again but this time it was infront of my house so I was more patient with it. Instead of slamiing the hood, which "fixed" it last time, I opened it and began randomly tapping various...
I considered Rivian before going with the Bronco. I have an irrational (or rational) fear I'd be extrocuted to death while trying to cross a river in an electric considering the high voltages this electric cars use :)
I checked the three screws in the fusebox this morning and they are tight! Same with battery terminals. Haven't checked the ground yet to see if anything looks off
Thanks, I needed the laugh. I for sure have a solution. I'm trading it. This is my first Ford and so far its been hell. Someone said in my previous thread that people like me should stick to Hondas and Subarus. They were trolling but I'll take their advice.
Hey y'all unfortunately things got worst. The Bronco completely died today while going to get tacos 2 miles from home. This post has all the details and a video to proof it. This car only has 9k miles
Just this week I made a post about about how the 4x4 system died while I was off-roading on an easy trail. Unfortunately things just got worse with this vehicle.
I have a used Bronco Wildtrak I bought 3 months ago with 8K miles which now has 9K miles and it died in the middle of the road. I...
Stop hating, I'm happy the price is there. I always wonder what people's build's cost and like they said people often ask so they decided to just answer the question. I'm happy there are people like this who are willing to share the cost of their builds when people like me ask.
This is one hell of a sweet looking ride. Good job!
Too bad I see some haters in the comments. The car community is meant to be a fun space for people to explore and express their creativity in whatever way they want. I've actually seen people in rigs this sick on trails when I go off-raoding...
No need to be this condescending if someone doesn't know something you think everyone does. Forgive me for expecting a more reliable experience from a +50k vehicle. This is my first Ford purchase so I didn't realize everyone in the Ford community disconnects their battery termnials or have to...
Thanks for the heads up. I'll watch out for this. The system shutting down is what led me get into spinning instead of the other way round and I generally do not try to push through when this happens as its just not good practice. However if a Bronco can't handle a little spin thats a big deal...
This trail was so simple it will be almost impossible to drive poorly on it. Ford says switching GOAT modes at low speeds should be ok unless you are switching between low and high ranges. However I'll try to come to a stop before switching GOAT modes and see if that helps.
Same thing happened to me as explained in this thread. My opinion of the Bronco is changing real fast.
I always hear "a Jeep will take you there, but a Toyota will take you there and back". In this case the Bronco couldn't even take you there
