I didn’t let the dealer wash mine when I picked it up. Whenever I buy a new car I always hand wash it, and then spray it all over with iron remover, let it sit for a few minutes, rinse then I spray sealant on it. I’ve never had issues with rail dust on any of my cars because of this.
If you go Sasquatch I think you’d be happy with the acceleration of the 2.3 due to the higher 4.7 final drive ratio. I’m coming from a manual 5.0 mustang, and I find the acceleration from my manual sasquatched Bronco more than adequate. I can see those opting for the automatic not enjoying it...
It means they are over capacity by that percentage. But it’s only based on the current unscheduled orders and it doesn’t take into account future production.
the 2.3.59 test build is the one I received.
I tried DM'ing you the test build they sent me but it was too big even after compressing it. The forscan FAQ has instructions for emailing debug files. If you send them those debug files and tell them the error message that forscan gave you, I hope...
If it helps I was a menace and went the day after it arrived. My salesman didn’t even know it was there! They did the PDI while I waited and I told them no wash, no front plate, and no badge. They forgot to install the tow package, so I had to return a couple days later for service to install it.
I bought mine the day after it arrived. I forgot to check the hitch was installed and when I checked the following day I realized it wasn’t installed. Few hours later my salesman showed me a picture of the box the hitch came in. I got it installed the next morning.
The final prep is state inspection, wash and detail (which you can ask them not to do), and dealer installed options. When I picked mine up, it had arrived the day before and hadn’t even been touched yet. I drove off with it about 3 and a half hours later and that was with most of their systems...
Picked up my 2024 Badlands 2 days ago. Forscan didn't initially recognize it, but I contacted support and they sent me a test build that worked. Disabled double honk and auto start/stop, and enabled Sport mode.
My Bronco shipped on 1/20. when my Bronco got to the last rail yard before getting prepped for the convoy the status changed to “empty - released by customer”. That occurred on 1/28. Then it just needed to be loaded onto a truck for delivery to the dealer. It arrived at the dealer just today...
yea the way ford partner customer service explained it to me it sounds like that Dealers who generally participate in the X-Plan program CAN sell their stock in the program, but they don’t have to.
