I've seen the same thing when I do manage to get up to 10 mph while off-roading. It will go to the blue screen then after a bit will give me a 'camera not available' message for a minute and then eventually go back to the main screen.
When I don't get up to 10 mph it will stay on the camera...
Mine also does the same. If you shift into reverse the camera activates, but when you are 4-wheeling it may be some time after you shift back to drive before you get up to the speed at which the camera turns off. It is very annoying when you are trying to follow GPS on a trail.

Not very useful judging the integrity of mechanical systems based on a small fleet of vehicles that see beyond severe duty 6-7 days a week from a different driver every day, 90% of which are attempting it for the first time (rock crawling a manual transmission).
I actually had the same momentary confusion when I first hooked mine up because from the day I got the Bronco all the Aux switches were in the "back" position, which I had just assumed was the off position.
That was the problem. Aux 6 power is the yellow/orange wire at the firewall, not the yellow wire. I connected the compressor's purple wire to the correct Aux wire and everything works as it should.
