That looks like a deflector for the gas tank since the front edge of the tank is exposed and plastic. Do you have a gas tank skid? Maybe this is if you don't have a skid on the tank, you get the deflector to protect from rocks or road debris being flung up while driving.

Took a family vacation to Sedona for the weekend from Phoenix. Went and did Broken Arrow. Nice easy trail with beautiful views.

I got the cheapest basket from HF for $69 and used a 12” extension, redrilled the holes for more overlap of the tubes and it still clears the 35” tire for stacking in the basket. Without the extension the basket is under the tire. lots of expensive baskets in this thread….

I know mine is nothing special. However, the price change is all just the price increases. When I built the Bronco in 2021, it was an MSRP of just under $45k. With all the ford price increases, the same exact order is just over $53k. if I go to any other dealer, I am still paying close to MSRP...
