  1. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

The tranny skid is now on back order.... Lol Serves me right, starting a thread on it!
  2. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

Lol nice! I have a pair of Ford branded mats in the Fiesta 🤔😁 Great idea.... Now ya got me thinking
  3. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Just crawled under my 2 door Heritage again, and I do indeed have a metal engine skid pan... So basically the only one missing from the full, Ford compliment is the transfer case skid 🤷 And if my Badlands didn't even have a tranny skid, what am I worried 'bout? Lol Definitely would add piece of...
  4. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

Those are for water spray... Have you seen the mesh rubber ones on trucks? I wonder if I could make up my own hybrid flaps 🤷
  5. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

    Yeah, there's that 👍🏻
  6. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

That's pretty much the perfect material for the I'd say!
  7. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

I just can't see the value in these 🤷
  8. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

My last Bronco had a prototype set of these (diff manufacturer). I liked them...but too easy to snap.
  9. Where's the flappy mud flaps? 🤷

Is it just me, or shouldn't an offroad vehicle have super-flappy, flexible mudlfaps? All I see available are semi-rigid plastic flaps that would no doubt snap and break while passing over large rocks, etc. I envision something closer to a transport truck flap (smaller of course) Is there...
  10. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

The Heritage has a front steel plate... Maybe I saw a plastic engine cover under there and thought it was steel? I'll check my dealer to see if he can find the part numbers for just the engine and transfer case Unless @Skip can lend a hand....? If not... Both these are on sale...
  11. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

The factory add-on skids look a lot less appealing, especially considering it still leaves the tranny pan exposed. And $1100 CDN 🤔 4WP looks tempting, especially if I can find an engine skid in the same budget range
  12. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Thanks... Yeah, it's the stuff you don't see, like water crossings, that'll ruin your day.
  13. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Maybe a deflector? Looks like a Ford skid. I think Outer Banks has nothing at all, so it doesn't make sense that for would add just a stone deflector. I'll have to do more research. I def3dont want to add a lot of wait. I'm more a trail runner/overlander style offroad. I don't need durability...
  14. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Okay, pretty sure I don't have the engine skid, but from what it looked like, it didn't need one.... 🤷 The only glaring issue I saw underneath was the giant, plastic oil pan. Unless... My Heritage also has the engine skid.?
  15. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

This is the piece I mean... Does this not cover the tranny/transfer case?
  16. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Really? So my ex-Badlands had an exposed plastic transmission pan?? 😔🤔
  17. Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Just looking for some piece of mind... Pleasantly surprised that my 2 door Heritage came with the gas tank skid already... Seen the whole factory kit available from Ford but can't seem to find just the 1 plate. Aftermarket units are pricey. Even the Maybett one 🤷 Options?
