  1. BFG KO2 A/Ts versus GOODYEAR M/T TERRITORY

I use both. 315-70-17 Goodyear MT in the Summer and KO2 in winter season.
  2. Does anyone carry emergency food & water for unplanned overnight situations?

I do. I carry US Coast Guard dry food rations in a drawer I placed underneath the backseat. I carry more stuff: 4 emergency thermal blankets, 2x2 gallon jerry cans when driving through mountain passes in winter, fully charged jump starter, GMRS radio + handheld ones with the list of repeater...
  3. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

I like the looks of Ineos, yet, not for me though 😕 Cost, too complicated BMW engine, expensive parts, not a great deal of dealerships or other tech/service logistics on this continent, inability to completely turn off track control while offroad... Wish it had little bigger tires, better...
  4. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

That's fair. I agree Re: throttle. In my case, I'm usually with toddlers driving on paved roads - I don't mind slowing down everything I do while driving - no rush 👍 I take my time especially when I know my wife is picking up little things I do while saf That's fair. I agree Re: throttle...
  5. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

I use 4A seasonally after changing to K2s on rims lighter then OEM as KO2's are heavyer than OEM MT Goodyears that came with my Badlands. In snowy conditions on road I switch to Slippery mode. When driving in snowy conditions offroad i use 4H or any of other GOAT mods: eg Mud/Ruts, Baha. I think...
  6. Snow chains needed for Big Bear trip? Have SAS

Here is what I got for my Badlands Sasquatch: Rear wheels: Studded chains 315/70R17LT, 315/70-17 LT VBAR (Tire Chain. Com) Front: I got socks for snow and for ICE I got diameter 4.5 mm DEDC KS1620 chains. I've seen Jeep people using them. I haven't tried them on Goodyear's MT's I run April...
  7. Which SUV has better offroad capability: Stock Bronco Sasquatch vs Toyota 4Runner with 3" lift and larger tires

Stock 2025 Badlands SAS would be my choice. I may be wrong in thinking that mods you mentioned may compromise 4Runners highway performance, fuel efficiency and possibly stability and therefore safety. That may not matter if you plan on using 4Runner as an offroad rig only, though. Also, in case...
  8. Do you get people trying to race you ?

Has anyone tried to race you offroad 😀? Would love to see that 😀😀
  9. What mods are needed for a 5th Gen 4Runner to compare with Bronco Sasquatch Badlands--- Offroading in Colorado?

I agree, and would love to see 35's on stock 4Runners, too. I've actually been waiting for the 6gen TRD Pro 4Runner untill I couldn't have waited any longer (kids are growing up fast and we wanted to be able to go to different places before they start going to school). What I liked about...
  10. What mods are needed for a 5th Gen 4Runner to compare with Bronco Sasquatch Badlands--- Offroading in Colorado?

I agree with everything eind sad about Black Diamond and initially I planned to buy that trim. I decided hovewer to go with Badlands in the end as I didn't want initially to have to spend time and money modifying anything engineeres have created making a well balanced vehicle both technically...
  11. What mods are needed for a 5th Gen 4Runner to compare with Bronco Sasquatch Badlands--- Offroading in Colorado?

Re: question 2) - my understanding is that 4Runner may lose some HP (say around 20%) owing to high altitude and lack of oxigen. Badlands on the other hand would not have such an issue for it has two turbo compressors. Another difference between the two would be front dif locker. Other than...
  12. Does your truck randomly change what turn signal is on?

Same here in some cases - 2024 Badlands. Everyone here, thanks for using turn signals👍 Can't believe how many people don't! Only in the US. Everywhere I drove overseas, people who forget to use them get pulled over
  13. Is it just me or is the factory jack garbage?

I wouldn't trust that jack either. Useful BUT, not in all offroad situations I'd say. I guess you got Badlands with built-in rockrails. How about usung safely a farm jack?
  14. Reverse light upgrade?

    I got R I got 2021 - 2024 Ford Bronco Rigid SRL Rear Light Kit https://specialtyperformanceparts.com/products/2021-ford-bronco-rigid-srl-rear-light-kit-no-drill-sr-l
  15. What Bronco products would you like to see us make? 🤔

Rear sliding windows! Great number of us most definitely have dog. Dogs would love to be able to feel some breeze and fresh air in the back. 👍😀
  16. Safari / Bull Bar — actual benefit?

My bull bar is mounted around and above my 20" GPS enabled 'intelligent' light bar. Does not provide 100% protection in all possible cases but still feel my expensive light bar is safer that way.
  17. First Modified 2025 4Runner Build: 35's, Lift Kit, Wheels

Looking good on pics - the way 4Runner should have came out of factory! How much space ie clearance is left there? Enough for tire chains mandatory on some roads in CO during seasson? How about studded chains? Thanks
  18. Are 65 Pound Tires too Heavy For 3.73 Gears

I got Motegi MR150 Trailite 17x8.5 +18 MR15078568718 for my new KO2s are about 13 lbs heavyer than MT Goodyear I got with my Badlands. Motegi are about 13 lbs lighter that OEM rims I'm still keeping with original MT Goodyear for Summer Season. Hope this helps, maybe you get better idea
