5th gen looks better. The rear looks pretty similar to me. The front has weird proportions. Tacomas design department of late if lacking. Especially with the Tundra.
Well it’s already got twin turbos. I doubt you will see a supercharger available for it. I’m sure there are turbo upgrades possible but you would most likely be better served getting tuning from ZFG via HPTuners with them or waiting for SCT to be compatible for more tuning options
The UPR plug has been on my Bronco for under 1000 but no issues. I went that route as i had it on my 21 F150 2.7 and it was solid for over 8k miles. I sold that and got the Bronco or I’d have had more miles on it. I wish i got the plug a lot sooner for the truck.
I just installed my UPR plug. I had one in my F150 2.7 and really liked it. Super easy to use. Makes changes easy. Never tried removing it after install. If i get an iffy oil analysis i might. But those on the fence go for it. The ronin seems popular but the UPR is more popular in the F150...
thanks for that data. I changed mine at 1368 miles. I was waiting for my UPR plug to come in. But I’ll do an oil analysis on the next change at 5k. Put QS Ultimate Durability 5w-30 in. I used Supertech Full syn on my 2.7 F150 and the oil analysis on that was good at 5k but wouldn’t have pushed...

they use gasket maker on them. I think it’s the 8.8 rear end housing size. I think the bigger one has an actual gasket from what i remember. I changed my fluid and didn’t wanna deal with gasket maker. Had to look aftermarket. FYI this was a 2021 F150 2.7 4x4.
