I admit that my first mod was paracord grab handles. I don't need one to get in, but my Escape had a handle up there and I really like hanging my arm off it when cruising down the nice beach road here. If you don't like casually hanging your arm from a grab-handle while cruising down the road...

Late breaking news, not trusting the dealer is only sometimes good, trusting bronco6g is always gooderer.

I decided to game the system by not playing the game any longer. All exits are valid when you're escaping someone else's maze ✨️ Picking up an OBX 2dr this weekend. Even the dealer has stopped sending a note each week of no change, I still watch the VIN to find out how the story ends 🙂

I still follow one In Production since 1/18.

My dealer just yesterday said it's a week or so turnaround, I guess Ford website is still playing on the launch year crush processing times.

Picking up this Saturday, mainly to conquer the mean streets of the big city, not gonna lie, not going crawling but I'll hit desert roads occasionally :bandit: 2023 OBX 2.3 auto 2dr high package - fit and finish are very nice, thanks UAW :muscle:

Adding another data point, I took over someone's abandoned 4dr HE manual order, which stayed "In Production" too long, so now that order is abandoned twice... I guess the rattle/grindy Getrag transmission problem really shook the market. Way outside your geographical area, though.

Final update for closure: the HE build I was hoping for was one of that group "Stuck In Production" for months on end, and I decided to bail. I landed a 2dr automatic, a little less exciting but but I will not support Ford not doing PPPPP: proper planning preventing piss poor performance...
